KATA PENGANTAR
Puji syukur saya panjatkan kepada Tuhan yang Maha Esa, karena berkat rahmat
dan karunia-Nya penulis berhasil menyelesaikan proposal tugas akhir yang berjudul
"Perancangan Media Informasi mengenai Grup Musik Kontemporer Gangsadewa".
Gangsadewa merupakan sebuah grup musik kontemporer yang berasal dari
Jogjakarta, grup musik ini memiliki ciri khas tersendiri yaitu dengan
menggabungkan kedua jenis alat musik yaitu alat musik nusantara dan modern yang
kemudian dirancang sedemikian rupa menjadi sebuah aransemen musik.
Keberadaan Gangsadewa dalam dunia musik Indonesia merupakan bentuk
dari kelestarian budaya nusantara yang tentunya menjadi bagian dari tugas kita
sebagai generasi penerus bangsa. Media informasi ini diciptakan sehingga dapat
meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai budaya nusantara Indonesia.
Dalam kesempatan ini penulis ingin mengucapkan terimakasih kepada

ABSTRAKSI
Gangsadewa merupakan salah satu grup musik kontemporer yang ada di Indonesia,
keberadaan Gangsadewa dalam Indonesia tentunya dapat membantu memberi
inspirasi bagi para generasi muda dimana Gangsadewa merupakan bukti nyata
bahwa mereka berhasil menggabungkan dua jenis alat musik yaitu alat musik
nusantara dan alat musik modern menjadi suatu aransemen musik yang berbentuk
seperti sastra. Kurangnya informasi mengenai Gangsadewa pada peradaban
masyarakat modern tentunya membuat kurangnya kesadaran mengenai eksistensi
sebuah grup musik kontemporer yang menjadi contoh pelestarian budaya dan nilai-
nilai leluhur. Penulis ingin membuat sebuah media informasi sehingga dapat
membantu memberikan informasi dan pembelajaran mengenai Gangsadewa dalam
berbentuk buku informasi dan beberapa media sekunder sebagai pendukung.
Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik hibrida yaitu dengan metode wawancara dan
juga penyebaran kuesioner.

ABSTRACT
Gangsadewa is one of the exisiting contemporary music group in Indonesia, the
existence of Gangsadewa in Indonesia can surely help inspire the younger
generation where Gangsadewa is the living proof that they managed to combine to
musical instruments such as Indonesian instruments and modern instruments into
a musical arrangement which is shaped as literature. Lack of information about
Gangsadewa in modern civilization certainly makes a lack of awareness about the
existence of a contemporary music group which is a part of culture preservation
and ancestral values. The author wants to make an information media so it can help
provide information about Gangsadewa in the form of information book and
secondary media as support. The study uses hybrid technique, which includes
interview method and questionnaire distribution.
