Students were asked specifically how the school did this and there were a variety of answers, from weekly masses to service projects to staff modeling Christ -like behaviors. They’d recommend SEAS to any family. Why? Besides the family-feel to their class, students stated that they felt beer prepared for high school than their friends who weren’t at SEAS and that we make Jesus Christ known and loved. That last point was repeated over and over, in their survey responses and in person. • SEAS Proud!

Congratulations to Christian Hedin and Meredyth Anderson

2017 - 2018 St. Cecilia Music Award Winners!

Saint Cecilia is the patron Saint of musicians.

It is written that as the musicians played at her

wedding, she “sang in her heart to the Lord.”

Two 8th graders received these awards for

bringing the spirit of St. Cecilia alive through

their performances, willingness to serve the

school through music, and above all else, their

    passion for the performing arts.

Meredyth Anderson received the St. Cecilia

Choral Award. Meredyth has been a leader in

the choir by cantoring at school masses, and

helping the younger singers find their voice.

Christian Hedin received the St. Cecilia Instru-

mental Award. Christian was selected to be a

part f the Minnesota All State Middle School

Band this year. He is a joy to watch as he can

perform many different percussion parts at

    the same time.

    The Marketing Committee Needs You!!

Help promote SEAS School and share all

    the wonderful things happening within

    our school community!

    Contact Sheila Hedin at

    interest or with questions.

  • SEAS Sports!

Congratulations to Ella Kelly and Casey Steinmetz

2017 - 2018 Mr. and Ms. Patriot Award Winners!

The Mr. Patriot and Ms. Patriot Athletic Awards are given to an 8th grade girl and boy who exemplify leadership and sportsmanship on and off the court, show consistent academic achievement year to year, and have participated in at least 2 sports each of their three years at SEAS. Congrats to all other qualifiers: Joan Bromberek, Christian Hedin, Joey Helland, Nicole Judge, Ellie Klingner, Jacob Landoll, Colin Maher, Taylor Pelava, Margaret Siebenaler, and Alex Talley.

    SOFTBALL NEWS:

SEAS Patriots (3-4) won their last game of the season defeating Nativity White last Friday. Joan Bromberek hit a home run and Jerilyn Stark hit a triple. Rachael Notch caught a pop fly at 3rd, and then threw out a baserunner for a double play. Every single player was a base runner! “It was so much fun to see the girls all improve, no matter what their level was”, said Coach Chandler. Joan Bromberek, Alex Talley and Ellie Klingner were fantastic 8th grade leaders for the team, and we will miss them next year.

  • SEAS Sports!

Coach Chandler would like to invite you to participate in the Patriot Summer Volleyball Camp. This camp will give your child a chance to work on volleyball skills such as passing, setting, hitting and serving. The camp will introduce fundamental skills at the basic and intermediate levels of volleyball. We are very excited to offer this camp for SEAS girls interested in volleyball. The times and age groups are below. Grades are based on what grade your child will be entering in the fall.

If you would like your child to participate in the camp please email Mrs. Chandler or Ms. Ingebrand at the addresses below by June 1. Please make checks payable to Mrs. Chandler.
