On behalf of Father Solis My Sincere appreciation to ALL for your

continued support—before, during and

after Fall/Otoño Festival. It was a great

success. We could not have done this

festival without your help. Your time,

talents and monetary donations made it

possible. The Parish was beautifully deco-

rated and brought attention to many

passing by. The food booths had great

food—long lines, still people waited for

their favorite. Game booths were filled

with children and not to forget parents

playing the games. Beer—Sodas—Aguas

frescas kept everyone’s thirst filled. What

a Festival we had. Music was lively and

festive. Matachines did an outstanding

job with all the dansas and colorful cus-

tumes. Nurses station was ready to help

anyone in need. I saw lots of smiles even

though you were tired. Ticket booths did

an awesome job keeping the lines down

and money counters are not seen during

the festival also stayed till the last penny

was counted. Ticket boxes delivered and

picked up for all the booths so all tickets

could be counted .

Security watching out for all our safety

also did an excellent job.

Raffle Coordinator Teresa Bautista and

team did an excellent job working very

hard for the last three months in selling

raffle tickets. Thank you to Maintenance

and the crew for all the set up work and

tear down as well. Thank you for all your

hard work and dedication.

Communication Ministry also very atten-

tive to informing the public about the

festival. We cannot leave out the parish

office team for their assistance and being

attentive to everyone's needs in the coor-

dination of the Fall Festival, Thank you to

the Festival committee.

Les quiero agradecer a todos y

cada persona que aportó a nues-

tro Festival de Otoño/ nuestra

Kermes. Tuvimos la oportunidad

de reunirnos como familia y como

comunidad de Dios. Me dío

mucha alegría verles lo alegres

que estaban y disfrutando este

evento. Que gusto ver a los pa-

dres de familia compartir su tiem-

po con sus niños en los puestos.

Les agradezco por compartir su

tiempo, esfuerzo, talent y su

generosidad. Gracias a todos los

los que trabajaron los puestos,

los de la cocina, las personas

que decoraron la parroquia con

las flores, Gradezco tambien a

todos los que durante toda la

semana preparaon los puestos

para facilitar la organización de la

Kermes. Los de mantenimiento

que tuvieron todo en orden, gra-

cias. Tambien agradezco la par-

ticipación de los Matachines de

diferentes parroquias que se

unieron con nuestros Matachines

para danzar. Podimos tener la

asistencia de efermería durante

todo el fin de semana. Tambien

se vío el esfuerzo de coordi-

nación desde la venta de bolletos

hasta la contabilidad de bolletos.

Sentí que había muy buena se-

guridad gracias al equipo de se-

guridad que estan muy entrega-

dos en cuidar nuestra Iglesia y

feligreses. Las coordinadoras de

la Rifa tambien hicieron un traba-

jo fantastico en promover

nuestra rifa. Nuestra Kermes se

promovío tambien por medio de

las estaciones del radio– gracias

al equipo de comunicacíon.

donaciones - gracias por su

apoyo. Gracias por su ayuda en

la Segunda Colecta de los Do-

mingos,

No puedo dejar fuera al equipo

de la oficina parroquial que estu-

vieron tambien muy atentos en

A Prayer to begin Autumn

O God of creation, you have blessed us with the changing of the seasons. As we welcome the autumn months, may

the earlier setting of the sun remind us to take time to rest.

May the changing of the leaves remind us of the wonder of creation. May the cool morning air remind us that it is you

who gave us the breath of life. May the harvest from our fields remind us of the abundance we have been given and

bounty we are to share with others. May the dying of summer’s spirit remind us of your great promise that death is

temporary and life is eternal. Amen

Oh Dios de la creación, nos has bendicido con el cambio de las estaciones. Al dar la bienvenida a los meses de otoño,

que la temprana puesta del sol nos recuerde que debemos tomarnos un tiempo para descansar. Que el cambio de

what we take for granted.

Beginning in October we will have the envelopes for our dearly departed. You can write the names of your dearly de-

parted on these envelopes, turn into the parish office and beginning in November 2nd, All Souls Day we will have our

Book of Memory and will offer all our prayers and masses for those in the book. Thank you and God Bless.

Time to get ready for donating Turkeys for Thanksgiving

Beginning in November we will be asking donations and collecting turkeys for the Ministry of the Poor. Not only the

Turkey but also the trimmings, rice, mashed potatoes, etc. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Es hora de prepararse para la donacioñ de pavos para el Dia de Accion de Gracias

A partir el mes de noviembre, estaremos recolectando pavos para el Ministerio de los Pobres. No solo el pavo, sino

tambien arroz, puré de papas, etc. Gracias por su generosidad.
