TDS: Total Dissolved Solids• As a cooling tower evaporates condenser

water, mineral salts are left behind.

• Minerals concentrate and are discharged from the open loop by means of a conductivity meter and bleed valve.

• Make-up water is piped to the cooling towers to replace evaporation (75%) and bleed (25%) water loss.
