Before watching:

Watch the beginning of the video.Describe the people. Who are they? What are they doing? Where do you think they are going? What are they going to do?

The video includes the title “Storm Freerun”. What do you think this means? Have you heard it before? Discuss your ideas in pairs.

Now watch the full video clip. Write down any actions you see.

After watching:

In the first box, write down all the obstacles you can think of, that you would find in a city.In the second box write down all the verbs of movement that you could use to get around a city including the obstacles in box one.

Project: Choose one of the following writing tasks.

A) Design a route suitable for a free-run. Draw a plan of a part of a city, including buildings, walls, fences, steps, railings etc or any other obstacles. Then, describe the sequence of movements of the runner. 

B) Write a story about a free-runner describing his thoughts during a run. You can write in first or third person and in the present or in the past, as a dream or memory.

C) Choose one of the characters on the video (the names are displayed at the beginning) and write a short biography and portrait about him and his life, describing his interests, worries, family, friends, etc...
