I’ve created a group called “Roorrific” on Remind, a simple and free text messaging service that allows me to send text messages to parents about upcoming events, reminders, etc.

Last year, I had 100% of the parents signed up. It helped out SO MUCH with quick communications!! Can we hit 100% this year?

Homework Routine

Homework Routine

Monday-Friday: Read aloud with your child for 15 minutes each night and have your child write about their reading in their homework journal

Monday: Spelling choice Tuesday: Math worksheet Wednesday: Language Arts worksheet Thursday: Spelling choice

Homework should be done in pencil.

I will try to get all homework out on Monday. The homework journal (with all homework – 2 spellings, math, language arts, and reading journal) is due on Friday.

How Do I Get Home? If there is a change in how your child is getting

home, please send a note in your child’s red folder or email me prior to the start of school. Do not e-mail me at the end of the day.

During the school day, be sure to call in any changes to the office by 1:00pm.

This will help greatly with making sure your child gets to the right place safely!
