THE CONCEPT BEHIND OUR PRODUCTS

In keeping with the concept of New Architecture, Le Corbusier states that a good window is a window that does not look like one, thus introducing the idea of the panoramic window. The PanoramAH! system follows this concept through its full span opening, without any dimensional limits. The system consists of a high-tech sliding aluminium frame that explores, for the first time, the characteristics of freestanding glass to create large glazed areas, through the use of extremely thin structural aluminium profiles and binding polyamides. Unlike traditional systems, the glass supports itself - the function of the aluminium is merely to tighten the window. The PanoramAH! sliding window system allows the maximum amount of light to enter, due to its light, subtle profile and large glazed area. The aesthetic quality of the window allows the removal of all obstructive elements of traditional windows, through the integration of the metal frame within the structure, such as in walls, floors and ceilings. The 20mm vertical profiles are the only unifying elements, and are almost imperceptible between the glass panels. This results in an efficient, water resistant system that enhances glazed areas.

The PanoramAH! system has can be produced in unlimited dimensions. They are, however, constrained by the production capacity of the glassmaking industry. Its constitution and operation of profiles allow the perfect execution and handling of sliding panels with areas up to 19m2, which can be moved without difficulty. These sliding panels, consisting of a glass and aluminium structural bonding, roll over double bearing rails that self-centre the glass panels and are placed in a separate, removable element, set within the outer perimeter rim. Its extreme ruggedness (withstand loads up to 800Kg/ml) and ease of maintenance and replacement (watertight bearings are inserted into 1m long removable rails) makes this an extremely reliable, durable and high-performance system. PanoramAH! profiles can support double and triple glazing of up to 54mm thickness. The number of panels is unlimited and can be motorized, supporting up to four rails with the full opening angles being an example of its perfection. Responding to the most stringent technical requirements, the window frame is constructed from a hardened aluminium structural link and polyamide, providing excellent thermal performance (the complete blockage of the thermal bridge in all features). The use of triple glazing provides the PanoramAH! system with exceptional thermal balance, as well as remarkable acoustic performance, which has been proven in tests (sound absorption up to 44dB).

In addition to the undisputed high level of technology and reliability that is the foundation of every profile in the PanoramAH! series (sash, pivoting and skylight systems are also available with identical technical and aesthetic performances), this system responds to the new challenges of contemporary architecture. PanoramAH! is the best choice for all architectural projects in which quality and aesthetics are considered fundamental.

LA NOTION DE NOS PRODUITS

Avec le concept de l’architecture nouvelle, Le Corbusier déclare que la bonne fenêtre est celle qui ne ressemble pas à une fenêtre, introdui-sant ainsi le concept de la fenêtre comme une image. Le système PanoramAH! va à la rencontre de cette idée en developpant des baies à ouverture maximale sans limites dimensionnelles. La fonction de verre structurel associé a des profils en aluminium extrêmement minces avec polyamides de liaison, permet pour la première fois, la réalisation de grandes surfaces vitrées. Contrairement aux systèmes traditio-nnels , la vitre elle-même, prend en charge la fonction de porteur. L’aluminium est utilisé pour encadrer la fenêtre. Ce système de fenêtres offre des possibilités impressionnantes d’ entrée de la lumière. La grande surface de verre permet l’élimination de tous les éléments vi-suellement parasites de la composition que l’on trouve habituellement dans les fenêtres traditionnelles. L’intégration des baies dans la construction crée une perspective ininterrompue et illimitée. Les profils verticaux de seulement 20 mm sont presque imperceptibles tout en garantissant une extrême performance face à l’eau et a l’air.

La seule limite dimentionnelle du système PanoramAH! est le format de plateaux de verre disponible. Il est possible de réaliser des panne-aux coulissants avec des surfaces allant jusqu’à 19m² pouvant être déplacés sans aucune difficulté. Ces panneaux coulissants, composés d’un assemblage structurel verre/ aluminium, glissent sur des rails integrant des roulements. Son extrême robustesse (peut résister à une charge de 800kg/ml) et la facilité d’entretien (les roulements étanches sont insérés dans les rails amovibles en tronçon de 1m de long) en fait un système extrêmement fiable , durable et de hautement performance. Le Profil PanoramAH! permet l’intégration de vitrages double ou triple jusqu’à 54mm d’épaisseur integrés dans un support 4 rails ou plus. Le nombre de panneaux est illimité et peut être mo-torisé. L’ouverture d’angles complets ouvre des perspectives extraordinaires. PANORAMAH! répondant aux exigences techniques les plus strictes, le cadre de la fenêtre se distingue à travers un assemblage structurel en aluminium extrude et de polyamide, il permet d’atteindre d’excellentes performances thermiques (rupture de pont thermique de tous les éléments). L’utilisation d’un triple vitrage conduit a des performances thermiques exceptionnelles et un indice d’affaiblissement acoustique très elevé, comme en témoignent les essais réalisés en laboratoire certifié (indice d’absorption acoustique de 44dB).

Au dela de la haute technologie qu’offre ce produit dans les différentes gammes coulissantes. Le systeme PANORAMAH! est également disponible pour la réalisation de galandages, de guillotines, de pivotants ou de fenêtres de toit avec les mêmes performances techniques et esthétiques. Ce concept est en total résonnance avec les nouveaux défis de l’architecture contemporaine et se positionne comme le produit idéal dans les projets d’architecture pour lequels la qualité des finitions et des détails esthétiques sont fondamentaux.

“For an open view the architect and designer Le Corbusier was already considered a pioneer in architecture in the last century for his stunning open façade designs. The Centre Le Corbusier in Zürich from the 1960s, for instance, is fascinating as it repla-ced the more familiar materials of concrete and stone entirely with elements of steel and glass. The design of the PanoramAH! skylight with its minimalist appearance offers a similar kind of open aesthetics and at the same time embodies a solution to a common problem: panels of glass set at an angle had hitherto been impossible to open.

The system relies on an innovative track solution that allows sliding elements to be easily operated at any given angle. This not only provides better ventilation but also easier access to roof terraces for example. Self-explanatory and intuitive-to--use, these innovative elements can be operated both manu-ally and by electric motor. Moreover, this system can also be operated via contemporary building management systems in order to automate tasks and connect them to wind and rain sensitive sensors.

Another important aspect is that the innovative form of the angles allows the window panels to be fully opened. The well-thought-out concept of the PanoramAH! skylight also makes the production of window systems of up to four sliding tracks possible. The skylight complies with the highest technical re-quirements and standards, and ensures good heat insulation as well as outstanding waterproofing. Based on an innovative approach, this system offers new possibilities in architecture and thus a new outlook.”

STATEMENT BY THE JURYThe system of the PanoramAH! skylight is wellthought--through to the very last detail. Following a logical appro-ach, its design solves the problem associated with glass panels set at an angle, which had hitherto been impossible to open fully. The system is based on an innovative track system that allows inclined panels of glass to slide. It thus offers more options in architecture.

“Pour une vue imprenable l’architecte et designer Le Corbusier était déjà considéré comme un pionnier de l’architecture du siècle dernier pour ses superbes dessins de fa-çades ouvertes. Le Centre Le Corbusier à Zürich depuis les années 1960, par exemple, est fascinante car elle a remplacé les matériaux les plus familiers de béton et de pierre entièrement avec des élé-ments d’acier et de verre. La conception de la PanoramAH! skyli-ght avec son apparence minimaliste propose un type similaire de l’esthétique et ouvertes en même temps incarne une solution à un problème commun: panneaux de verre fixés à un angle avaient été jusque-là impossible à ouvrir.

Le système repose sur une solution de piste novatrice qui permet aux éléments coulissants d’être facilement exploités à tout angle donné. Cela fournit non seulement une meilleure ventilation, mais aussi un accès plus facile aux terrasses de toit par exemple. Auto--explicatif et intuitif à utiliser, ces éléments novateurs peuvent être actionnées manuellement et par un moteur électrique. PanoramAH! wanted to mark its presence in this year’s VETECO in an experience in which they demonstrated the most significant qualities of PanoramAH! system: precision, technique and quality, combined with extreme simplicity and elegance.

Thus, PanoramAH! with the collaboration of the workshop Taller de Casquería, whose project was a striking balance system between one of the most iconic models of PamoramAH! - the sash window and one of the shipping cars of Jofebar. In parallel, the same days of the fair, it was possible to visit the space Albasanz, PanoramAH! headquarters in Madrid, where it was made known the Skylight window as product winner of the Red Dot Award 2014, Best of the Best.

PanoramAH! series of products was developed to offer the perfect combination of aesthetics, effi-ciency and technique. Its unique features allow for a rethinking of windows, freeing them from their traditional scale and design, creating a unique and continuous dialogue between the interior and exterior: a dialogue that begins in your home and ends on the panoramic horizon.1 A 20mm profile is the only visual separation between the glass panels.2 Rails are embedded in the pavement, eliminating physical and visual barriers.3 When used as a structural element, the glass represents 98% of the window’s surface.4 The panoramic corners are an innovation exclusive to PanoramAH!. Other possibilities include: windows sliding into pocket walls, as well as sash and skylight windows.5 To take full advantage of the relationship between interior and exterior space, our system has a maximum glazed area of 19m2 per panel.

This single-family house lies on the west coast of Sweden, located close to the beach. The south side faces the garden that backs onto a pine forest, offering a verdant backdrop. Almost five metre high sliding windows within the two main volumes fully exploit the landscape. The north side of the home faces the street, so smaller windows create a more closed, private feel. The kitchen is dominated by a motorised vertically sliding window, which slides up into a wall pocket.

Cette maison individuelle est située sur la côte ouest de la Suède, située à proximité de la plage. Le côté sud face au jardin qui est adossé à une forêt de pins, offrant un écrin de verdure. Près de cinq mètres de haut fenêtres coulissantes dans les deux volumes principaux exploiter pleinement le paysage. Le côté nord de la maison donne sur la rue, si petites fenêtres créent une sensation privé plus fermé. La cuisi-ne est dominée par une fenêtre motorisé coulissant vertical, qui glisse vers le haut dans une poche de mur.

This series is notably the most suitable for interior partitions and spaces where acoustic and thermal insulation is not neces-sary. This system allows minimalist windows and partitions of monolithic proportions, with a glass surface of up to 3m².

The-se minimal double glazed windows have a glass surface of up to 6m² and are available with or without motorized elements.

The bearing rails can also be easily checked, since they are removable in 1 metre pieces, allowing easy mainte-nance and replacement.

ENTRETIEN Malgré les excellentes propriétés de nos profils, il est recomandé d’assurer un entretien préventif afin de garder toutes les propriétés techniques et esthétiques au fil du temps. Les ossatures aluminium étant naturellement exposées aux conditions météorologiques peuvent entraîner une alteration. Pour cela, un nettoyage non abrasif est suffisant pour assurer la pérennité de nos profils. Les rails de manoeuvre, peuvent également être contrôlés, puisqu’ils sont amovibles en tronçons de 1 mètre, ce qui permet un entretien (ou remplacement) très facile.
