From power distribution schemes to fully integrated process control systems, we design systems tailored to the exact needs of the customer, we do this by firstly exploring what systems they have currently and then compare this with their new system requirements.
Through doing this, we help our customers confidently define exactly what they want in order to be certain that we have understood their needs correctly.
After this, we work closely with our customers during the design stage, explaining our ideas fully as they develop, giving demonstrations along the way and making sure at every stage they fully understand and are satisfied with the end result.
Modern Manufacturing Facilities
Using the latest lean manufacturing processes, the 2,288-m2 facility operates via cellular flow line production areas specifically for material storage, fitting, assembly, cable preparation, wiring, test and inspection and dispatch activities.
This standard approach ensures client requirements are achieved irrespective of shape, size or quantity of panels and provides the capability to process an extensive range and volume of EC&I equipment from small control cabinets to large-scale containerised solutions.
Our skilled and flexible workforce executes each project in line with client specifications and timescales for both Bilfinger UK designed solutions or client designed build only requirements.
Concurrent Engineering Approach
Bilfinger utilises a concurrent engineering approach to achieve product prototype/series build objectives and maximise lean industrialisation and manufacture. This operational format allows for different stages of the project to take place simultaneously rather than consecutively with integrated teams which results in improved productivity, reduced costs and getting it right first time.

Labels/Signs Manufacturing Service
Bilfinger UK‘s label manufacturing department is able to offer a complete design and manufacturing service using a state of the art CO2 laser engraving and cutting machine which produces a wide range of labels and signs to meet client‘s requirements.
The laser is able to etch into sheets of up to 1000mm x 610mm in size into a variety of materials and with a maximum processing speed of 140 inches per second; the machine we use is one of the fastest on the market.
We also provide vinyl-printing services for banners, window stickers and company vehicle branding.

Our thorough testing means our customers can be confident that once their system is handed over to them that it will be immediately up and running without any problems or delays.
We bring our customers and their equipment into our workshop to work with us on factory acceptance and integration testing, where we mimic the operating environment as far as is possible off site.
During this time, we can also offer training for our customers teams, only when our customers are satisfied that the system we have produced has reached their expectation do we then move into installation and similarly detailed site acceptance testing.
