YOU’RE GOING TO BE CREATING A COLOURWAY FOR YOUR OWN SOFA DESIGN!

NEW SOFA PATTERN!1) What is a colourway?2) Cut out two different simple shapes (using

materials for inspiration) 3) Lay out shapes and create a repeating pattern

across whole page. Note maths links!4) Select two colours you like (in pairs if you want)5) You have TWO palettes:

1) One for tones 2) One for hues

TONE: varying the colour with black / whiteHUE: varying the colour without black / white

COLOURWAY: 1 base colour (primary or secondary) in a pattern with varying tones and hues.
