The Australian Preparatory Program (International Qualified Nurse) is a unique program designed to fully prepare overseas qualified nurses, who are required by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as part of the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA), to undertake an Outcome Based Assessment ( OBA ) to apply for registration as a nurse in Australia. For over a decade, Education Training & Employment Australia (ETEA) was the largest Australian provider of the bridging program, Initial Registration Program for Overseas Registered Nurses (IRON). ETEA successfully delivered this program to over 3,500 international nurses Australia wide. Our strong ties with the Australian healthcare industry backed by structured theoretical content of our OBA Program will better assist IQN to achieve their goal of acquiring Australian Registration. On our NCLEX-RN Review Program, we partnered with RA Gapuz from the Philippines, who boasts high number of successful passers of the theoretical examination conducted by the National Council Licensure Examination for over 25 years. Also, ETEA offers four-weeks of OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) Preparatory Program including two-weeks of Clinical Placement with an Australian healthcare facility with acute setting. ETEA’s OBA Program aims to produce high number of successful IQN gaining Australian qualifications.     ETEA can assist IQN Applicants for AHPRA Assessment consisting of:

    Component 1: Austral ian Preparatory Program (IQN) – AHPRA

    Four (4) weeks of On l ine Learning via Zoom (120 Hours) consisting of 4 areas:

    1. Overview and Scope - Competency adaptive review program, Predictor Test

    2. Method and Duration• Comprehension review• Intensive Final Coaching• Digital Media Review, Exam practice and pointers

    3. Exit Assessment4. NCLEX Review in Austral ia

    Component 2: Austral ian Preparatory Program (IQN) – NCLEX

    Four (4) weeks (140 hours) of Theory/Simulation Laboratory & Clinical Placement

    1. Two Weeks (60 Hours) Theory and Simulation Laboratory2. Two Weeks (80 Hours) Supervised Clinical Placement in an Austral ian

    Healthcare faci l ity

    Component 2A: Austral ian Preparatory Program (IQN) – OSCE

    Clinical Placement with Advanced Theoretical and Simulation

    Four (4) weeks (140 hours) of Theory/Simulation Lab & Clinical Placement

    Applicants must provide evidence of an approval letter from the Austral ian Health Practit ioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) indicating which stream of entry.

    Applicants must then pass a selection interview.

    Letter of Offer wil l be sent to Candidates who are successful at interview.

    Applicants must provide evidence of the following Vaccination and Immunisation: Hepatit is B, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Annual

    Influenza vaccination, Mantoux and clear X ray for Tuberculosis 2 weeks Prior to commencement of the f irst Clinical placement

It was a corporation duly registered by the government and was founded by Ray A. Gapuz, RN, MAN, a Fi l ipino nurse and a topnotcher in the Phil ippine Nursing Licensure Exams. R.A Gapuz has offered the NCLEX-RN Review for the last 25 years achieving high result of success for applicants.
