details will be given to the pupils nearer to the date.

2. Examination Components and Topics

Attached are the examination components and topics which will be tested for the various

subjects. Pupils’ books and files will be returned to them for revision.

3. Absence during Examinations

We would like to remind all parents that should any pupil absent himself or herself from school

during an examination, a valid medical certificate is required. There will be no retaking of the

examination. However, with a valid medical certificate, a ‘VR’ (Valid Reason) will be reflected in

the pupil’s result slip. Otherwise, the pupil will be awarded a ‘zero’ for that paper. For papers

where there are multiple components, marks will only be taken into consideration and adjusted

accordingly if the pupil has sat for at least 55% of the examination. We would also like to stress

that any pupil, if feeling unwell, should rest at home after seeing the doctor instead of coming to

school to sit for the examination. We would like to teach our pupils social responsibility.

4. Things to bring for Examinations

The following is a table to guide your child in packing the things that he/she needs for the

examination. The school will not be providing any stationery/mathematical sets/calculators and

dictionaries during the examinations.

Paper Things to Pack

Written Papers Pupils are to have minimum of 3 blue pens, 2 2B pencils, 1 ruler

and 1 eraser. Highlighters and mechanical pencils are good to

have.

Mother Tongue Paper 1 Approved dictionary (P5 and P6 only)

● Chinese Language: Hardcopy or electronic

● Malay Language: Hardcopy

Mathematics Paper Protractor and set squares (P3 to P6)

Approved calculator (P5 and P6 only)

5. Suspension of CCAs

Please note that all CCAs will be suspended from 14 Oct to 31 Oct 2017.
