Brief description of instructional

material

It is a three-dimensional instructional

material and quadrilateral in shape. It

looks like chess board outside. It has two

small chalkboard inside with divisions in

between which are the shapes and its

different colors engraved in a styrofoam.

Furthermore, it has pockets sewed in an

old fabric then pasted in the plywood.

Instructional Material The external part is useful for motivation and

springboard to a story in English..

It can develop critical thinking.

It can develop independent learning.

It can arouse and sustain the interest of the learners.

The different shapes with its color are useful in teaching kindergarten and Grade 1 pupils..

Pocket chart is useful in presenting pictures and flashcards.

Critical Analysis

This instructional material is a useful

educational tool in teaching-learning

process. Pupils will learn and at the same

time enjoy manipulating this instructional

material. But looking at this, in other

perspective, teacher can use this in

instances that the room is not available.

However, this can only be use from

kindergarten to Grade III.
