Online Interface for CA Submission through LPU e-Connect for Distance Education Students The online interface for submission of Continuous Assessment (assignments) would be available for registered LPU DE students under their corresponding log in of LPU e-Connect. Process for Submission of CA through LPU e-Connect 1. Login to LPU e-Connect account using your credentials. 2. Go to CA Submission Interface. 3. Select the course for which assignment is to be submitted. 4. Review the details of assignment and click on the assignment details section to go to next page. 5. Download the assignment (provided by university) using “Open/ Download Assignment” button. 6. Take print out of standard format of assignment. 7. Write the answers for questions in specified area of printed assignment in your own hand writing. 8. Click the photo of hand written assignment. 9. Upload the photo of written assignment using “Select Files” button after ensuring the clarity and proper format of file to be uploaded. 10. Preview the uploaded files using “Preview” option. 11. In case of any discrepancy, you may delete the file and upload a new file. Click on “Delete” button to delete the uploaded image and re-upload the new image following same process for uploading. 12. Submit the uploaded image using “Submit Assignment” 13. Ensure to get “Submitted” message after submission of assignment. Important Instructions: Only handwritten assignments on the format provided by university will be accepted. Uploaded image of written assignment should not be blurred and should be easily readable. Zero marks will be awarded if distorted/ blurred image is uploaded. Once submitted, assignments cannot be re-submitted. It is mandatory to ensure all the important points related to format before submission of assignment. It is important to adhere to the instructions and time lines given by university for submission of assignments as students would be getting continuing assessment marks based on these assignments.

Process for Submission of CA through LPU e-Connect

1. Login to LPU e-Connect account using your credentials. 2. Go to CA Submission Interface. 3. Select the course for which assignment is to be submitted. 4. Review the details of assignment and click on the assignment details section to go to next

page. 5. Download the assignment (provided by university) using “Open/ Download Assignment”

button. 6. Take print out of standard format of assignment. 7. Write the answers for questions in specified area of printed assignment in your own hand

Step by Step Process for submission of CA through LPU e-Connect

Step 1. Log in through LPU e-Connect:

Or

Through LPUDE website: www.lpude.in

1. Log in to LPU e-Connect with your user ID and password.

2. Follow the below mentioned path and go to CA Submission interface. Select “CA

Submission” option

Path: LPU e-Connect Log in --- > Homepage --- > Exam Connect --- > CA Submission

3. Select “CA Submission” option

Step 2: After selecting “CA Submission”, following screen would be displayed

In above illustration:

1. Course code & name: DENG201: English II 2. 0 out of 1: indicates the no. of assignments applicable and submitted

Where 0 is the status of assignments submitted by student; and 1 stands for the applicable total no. of assignments which are to be submitted by

student.

Total No. of assignments which are to be submitted by student

No. of assignments submitted by student

Step 3: Assignment Details

By clicking on any Course, details related to assignment and its status will be displayed. For example, consider following screenshots:

Course Code: DENG201 refers to Course for which assignment is to be submitted Back Button: can be used to go back to previous page Assignment No: refers to assignment no. Term ID 117181: Current Term of the student Total Marks 20: Total marks for assignment Start Date: Date from which onwards interface is available for uploading assignment End Date: Last date for assignment uploading Assignment Status: Status of assignment is reflected as below:

a. Pending: It means assignment is not uploaded yet

b. Success: It means assignment is uploaded

Status of assignment is pending

c. Expired: It means last date for uploading assignment is crossed

Step 4: Downloading assignment format and Uploading the solved assignment

1. Click on the section in which assignment details are reflecting (as mentioned in above screenshot), you will be redirected to next page for options to download the format to attempt assignment and to upload the attempted assignment:

Open/ Download Assignment: Use this button to download the format (provided by university) for attempting the assignment Select files: Use this button to select the image file of written assignment for uploading. Submit assignment: Use this button to submit the uploaded solved assignment.

2. Downloading the Assignment Format: Click on “Open/ Download Assignment” to download the assignment provided by

university Take print out of the assignment Write the answers for questions in specified area of printed assignment in your own

hand writing. Click the photo of hand written assignment.

3. Upload the Assignment: Following important points are to be considered for uploading the assignments: Select the image of solved assignment for uploading by using “Select files” button Format of image should be .jpg, .png or .bmp format only.

When you will click on “Select Files” button, a popup will appear to select the files:

Step 5. Preview and Submission of Assignments

1. There are two buttons to “Preview” and to “Delete” the assignments as displayed in screenshots below:

2. After verification, submit the file. In case of any discrepancy, delete the file as shown below and upload the new file using same process mentioned above for uploading.

Click “OK” if preview of uploaded image is fine

Click here if you want to delete the uploaded image

3. Click “Yes Submit it!” once you are sure to submit your assignment completely

4. Message will be reflected after successful submission of files
