Hello parents, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy and I also hope each of the moms had a wonderful Mother's Day! Originally, we had the New Parent Orientation scheduled for this evening. Since we obviously cannot get together in-person we decided to create a video for you. Each person that would normally present at the meeting tonight, recorded themselves sharing information about their group and welcoming you to CKS. Please enjoy this video. In light of Governor Abbott’s recent announcement allowing retail stores to be open for curb-side pick up only, we wanted to let you know that our stores will be open for your pick up needs beginning on Tuesday, April 28th. You can place an order one of three ways: you can call and place a phone order for pick up, you can go to our on-line store and place your ordering by checking “order pick-up” before completing your purchase, or you can still order on-line and have your items shipped to your home. If you choose pick up, we will call or email you when your order is ready to be picked up. Once you arrive in the parking lot, you can call us to run it out to you. Please refer to our website for our temporary revised hours.

Diocese of Dallas Safe Environment Program
Hello and welcome to Christ the King Catholic School! We are glad to have you here and grateful for your dedication to your children and their education.
We look forward to having you as an active volunteer. In order to volunteer you must complete the mandatory Diocese of Dallas Safe Environment Program. This program requires the completion of the following steps:
1. Screening Form (use this link https://dallas.setanet.org/screening.php) - Include at least 3 personal references with email addresses and phone numbers.
Please list people who have known you well for at least 3 years. - Read the Safe Environment Policies for Diocesan Entities, Policy on Sexual
Misconduct and the Diocese of Dallas Social Media Policy and electronically sign the acknowledgement forms.
2. Complete the appropriate Safe Environment class. Training information is not yet available, but will be made public when the decision is final.
3. Email me ([email protected]) for a personal interview.
4. The Diocese of Dallas mandates a six month waiting period for all volunteers new to the parish

In order to remain compliant with the Diocesan Safe Environment rules all volunteers must retrain annually.
- If you are currently clear to volunteer through Christ the King Church, please email me to determine next steps.
- If you have been cleared somewhere else in the Diocese of Dallas, contact me through email to discuss sharing your Safe Environment file from your previous parish. We will discuss further requirements.
