OCMEA News Spring 2017: End of The Year Edition 1 A Letter from Our President Wyatt Heinz Dear Collegiate Music Educators, What a great year it has been! We had a successful Fall Conference at The Ohio State University, an overflowing Banquet in Cleveland, and a record setting election! I would not have been able to do any of this without the help of the 2016-2017 State Board. What an exciting time to be a music education major. I am looking forward to the coming year with the new State Board! We have already begun brainstorming some new ideas for the year and can not wait to share them with you! As the President of OCMEA my goal is to make connections with other educators from all across the state. Chapters should be collaborating with each other to spread the love of music and the arts. I want to make it easier for you to get connected by having an active Google document. I have also been trying to grow our social media presence. None of this can be possible without your help!
