Dear Parish Family, members, attendees, guest and seekers, The Lord be with you!
On the weekend of November 25 & 26, we will be saying goodbye to a dear friend. Because of our new Sight Ministry, we are able to project all our songs on the screen, so we will not be getting new hymnals. We are KEEPING our Mis-salettes. For our Chapel, we have ordered songbooks to as-sist us in singing during the weekday Masses. Congratulations go out to Chuck Luke for being this year’s recipient of the Dioce-san St. Jude Award. He will be receiving this award from Bishop Parkes this after-noon at the Cathedral. Here is a list of the past St. Jude Award recipients:.
Interested in becoming an Ordained Deacon for the Church? Our Inquiry meeting is on the last Wednesday of every month excluding December. Please join me and Deacon Ron on Wednesday, November 29th at 7:30pm in the Knights of Columbus Portable. Come with your questions. Come with your desire to serve the Lord.

I preached the same Stewardship Homily six times last week. During the 5th time, very spontaneously, I added a line that I reused for the 6th Mass. It was at the very end and I was summing up my Teaching. I had been explain-ing that once you decide to put Jesus First in your life, then everything else fits into place. You are then free to put Jesus First in your Time, your Talent and your Treasure. What I ADDED came after saying we needed to put Jesus First in our Talent. HERE IS MY ADDITION: “In this Church today, we have much Talent. YOU should be BEGGING us to USE YOU in Ministry; instead of us, begging you to get involved!”!!!! It is my DREAM, that one day we will have WAITING LISTS for ALL our Ministries.

Esta semana pasada predique la misma homilía sobre Administración 6 veces. La quinta vez, muy espontáneamente, agregue una línea que use en la sexta Misa. Al final estaba resumiendo mi enseñanza y explicando que una vez que decides poner a Jesús Primero en tu vida, todo lo demás encaja y entonces eres libre de poner a Jesús Primero en tu Tiempo, tu Talento y tu Tesoro. Lo que AGREGUE vino después de decir que necesitábamos poner a Jesús Primero en nuestro Talento. AQUÍ ESTA MI ADICIÓN: ¡¡¡"En esta Iglesia hoy, tenemos mucho Talento. USTEDES deberían de rogarnos para USARLOS en algún Ministerio; en lugar de nosotros rogarles a ustedes de que se involucren”!!! Es mi sueño, que algún día tengamos una LISTA DE ESPERA para TODOS nuestros ministerios.

Este retiro es para todos los de 2do - 12mo grado que están participando en la clase Sacramental de la preparación de la Primera Reconciliación. Este retiro ayudará a darle una com-prensión más profunda del Sacramento y permitirá que los participantes se sientan cómodos al recibir el Sacramento por primera vez.
This retreat is for all 2nd - 12th graders who are par-ticipating in the First Recon-ciliation Sacramental Prepa-ration Class. This retreat will help give a deeper un-derstanding of the Sacra-ment and will allow the par-ticipants to feel comforta-ble when receiving the Sac-rament for the first time.
