Week Two

Activities Description

Amazing Race @ Admiralty Park

Using a map with clues and hints, Campers must work together to find the correct answers around the massive Admiralty Park, all the challenges must be completed in order to finish the Amazing Race!

Aqua Fun Led by the Aquatics team, campers will compete through relay laps and pool games. Do remember to bring your swim wear, bathers, swim hat, goggles and sun screen!

Balloon Sculpting We’ve seen kids and adults alike watch in awe as Balloon Sculptors create adorable characters and decorations by twisting balloons from thin air. Surprise your loved ones with your newly acquired skill!

Creative Clay Put your creativity to the test and mould your very own creation. Campers will utilize and stretch their imagination using the revolutionary air clay.

DIY Marble PaperPop Up Card

Create your own pop-up cards from scratch! From designing your very own marbled paper to creating pop-ups on your card, it’s all about YOUR creativity!

DIY Pencil Case Get creative and decorate your own handy canvas pencil case that suits your style to store your cherished and favourite stationery items!

DIY Water BottlePouch

Style up your canvas water bottle bag using your imagination to create beautiful artworks that you can use to carry and showcase your handy water bottle!

Dodge Ball Think you can dodge some shots? Let’s put your shots to the test in this interactive team game where campers must dodge or catch incoming balls thrown by the opposition.

Domino Attack A fun and meaningful activity that encourages patience and hard-work through stacking of domino chips whilst aiming to create a spectacular domino effect.

Face Painting Campers will learn how to mix their own desired colours and practice strokes before creating a masterpiece on their own faces. Products used are safe for your child’s skin, yet have stunning colours. Join us and let your face be the art canvas.

Activities Description

Kidz Treehouse ForestPlay

ForestPlay is a nature playscape for campers to bring out their sense of adventure, harness their creativity and the opportunity to learn in a natural environment. Campers will be given real tools such as saws, hammers, gloves and more. Come and enjoy a time of creating and building of your own structure, all under close supervision by trained professionals of Forest Play.

Movie Time! Campers will get to have a cinematic experience as they catch the latest Disney film on the big screen!

Nerf & Bunkr Enjoy some action-packed high intensity NERF battles with our BUNKR defences that simulates an actual competitive setting. Teams must work together to eliminate the opponents and be the winner. Teamwork, strategy and the all-out NERF battle will surely get the campers adrenaline pumping!

Street Dance Street dance is an umbrella term for a large number of social dance styles such as break-dancing, popping, locking, whacking etc. Come join us now to have a groovy good time!

Slime Making Everyone wants to make slime these days and that’s because it’s just such a cool activity to try! Campers will get to create and personalize their slimes with vibrant colours and glitters to mix with!

X-Challenge In this challenge, there are different roles such as an architects, engineers and builders. Campers will have to work together to create various structures and the fastest team wins! Different roles will have an added challenge that they will need to adapt and overcome!

Flag Defenders Using only the materials provided, campers must work together to design, create and protect their team flag. Teams will come out victorious when they have successfully protected their team flags from getting eliminated.

Hydrodash @ Sentosa Get ready to climb, slide, leap and bounce your way through hydrodash, Singapore’s very first floating Aqua Park at Sentosa!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS) ABOUT OUR CAMPSWhat happens if I am running late for drop-off?Registration will start at 9:30 a.m., please drop off your child at The Quad Studios if you arerunning late.

What happens if I am running late for pick-up?For late pick-up or if you are arranging for someone else apart from yourself to pick your childup at the last minute, you may call The Quad at 6739-4444/4413 stating clearly the name ofyour child, the age group they belong to and your time of arrival so that the staff would be ableto relay the message to your child accordingly and ensure they leave with the person designated to pick them up.

When will my child receive the Camp T-shirt?Campers will receive two Camp T-shirt on the first day of camp. Should you require an extra pair for the other days, please feel free to let us know.

When will I receive the camp photos and video montage?The camp photos and video montage will be sent 2 weeks after the camp.

In the event of bad weather, will there be a change in the activity?Yes, all activities reflected in the program schedule may change due to poor weather conditions.

Who can register for camps?Returning Absent MembersReturning Absent Members with a valid card issued by the Membership Department canregister their child for camp. Payment can only be made by credit card; Absent Members willbe required to provide credit card details to the Youth Desk during registration.

New Members who have yet to receive a membership cardNew Members who have been issued a day pass and have made payment to the MembershipDepartment are eligible to register their kids for all camps.

What is the ratio of Counselors to campers?• 1 Counselor to five kids (6- to-12-year-olds)

Can children below the minimum age group attend the respective Camps?Children who are three months away from the minimum age of the age group are allowed tojoin.

What happens if I have registered my child for a full week of camp but was not able to fulfil it?If your child is unable to attend camp on any of the days during the week, the full camp fee willstill be charged unless you are able to produce a medical certificate.

What happens if my child is sick?Please call The Quad at 6739-4444/4413. Your child will need to submit a medical certificatefrom a doctor or hospital by the end of camp week for charges to be waived.

Do I have to leave an emergency contact?It is imperative that all parents leave an emergency contact as the Duty Manager/ CampManager/ Youth Manager will contact the number listed as your child’s emergency contact ifany unexpected situations arise.

What is the cancellation policy for camp registration?• Cancellation less than seven days from the date of activity, 50% of total camp fees will be charged.• Cancellations 48 hours and less, full charges apply.• Should a child be absent due to being sick, a medical certificate MUST be submitted for charges to be waived.

TERMS & CONDITIONS (T&CS) ABOUT OUR CAMPSParents and Campers, please take note:• Campers are strongly discouraged from bringing their valuables to camp (e.g. IT devices, jewellery, cash, etc.).• If your child is not feeling well or in the midst of recovering from flu, please refrain from sending him/her to camp as the well-being of our Campers are of top priority.• Do pack only the basic necessities for the day’s activities such as water bottle, cap, medication, snacks (if you allow them) to prevent the Campers from carrying a heavy bag• Activities are subject to change without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. wet weather.• For any emergencies, please call the Club’s front desk at 6737-3411. Please clearly state your child’s name and age so that our staff will be able to reach out to the counsellors in charge of your child’s group in a timely manner.• Please note that the Committee, Management and staff of The American Club are not liable for any loss or damaged property, injuries, accidents that might occur during camp.
