St. John the Baptist Catholic School Newsletter

Here at school, we are working on a specific character trait each month. See the list of children below who most exemplified respect month (October) from each classroom. November is about remembering things for which we are most thankful. We are so blessed at St. John’s school, with wonderful children and their families and fantastic teachers, who work daily to provide the best learning and growing experiences possible. I see your children growing in their prayerfulness, thoughtfulness and kindness towards each other. It’s actually quite difficult for me to “catch” the kids being good for the principal awards as they all do such kind things regularly. They are also making great strides in accepting the consequences for decisions or actions they shouldn’t have done – which is a hard thing for us all!

From the Principal’s Desk…

In a recent competition our 5th grade class

placed 5th place against 44 other schools

with a total 2,720 students participating. In

total, the students answered an outstanding

825,752 questions between themselves dur-

ing this contest!

Please make sure that you communicate any changes in your child’s schedule with the school office and not just another parent or your child’s teacher. If we do not hear from you, your child may be put on the bus when you planned to pick them up and vice versa. We have many after school clubs now, and it’s important that you communicate your plans with us, so we get your child safely where they need to be.
