Reserving Conference Rooms and Equipment

•When you reserve Conference Rooms 2A, 3B, or 4A, you reserve the DVD players and monitors kept in the black cabinets as well. If the cabinets are locked; the keys are available in Alice Clive’s office.

•When it’s time to pick-up the AV equipment you have reserved, see Bill Ferris, Olivia Knighton, or Jordan Hill on the third floor.

•When returning equipment, leave it with Bill, Olivia, or Jordan. If they are not available, the Staff Development Unit acts as a back-up drop-off point. Under no circumstances should you leave equipment in a vacant office.

•Depending on the movie screen you reserve, you will need to pick it up from the computer training room or the second-floor hall closet.

State Tuition Reimbursement Program

The State of Connecticut’s Tuition Reimbursement Program helps employees to finance a portion of their educational expenses for courses taken on their own time at accredited higher education institutions.

Each bargaining unit stipulates guidelines for the amount of reimbursement. There are also guidelines for managers and confidential employees that determine the amount that can be reimbursed per fiscal year.

Applications are available online at the following link: http://www.osc.state.ct.us/agencies/forms/pdf/C0-101.pdf Applications must be submitted at least two weeks before your class start date to OPM’s Tuition Reimbursement Officer, Alice Clive.
