NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING A public meeting to receive input on the following planning applications will be held on: COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE (PUBLIC HEARING) SEPTEMBER 3, 2013 at 7:00 pm at VAUGHAN CITY HALL, COUNCIL CHAMBER 2141 MAJOR MACKENZIE DRIVE, VAUGHAN, ONTARIO, L6A 1T1 PROPERTY: On the south side of Centre Street, east of Dufferin Street, 1445 Centre Street, City of Vaughan (Attachments #1 and #2 – Ward 5). APPLICATIONS: The Owner of the subject lands has submitted the following applications: 1. Official Plan Amendment File OP.13.007 to amend OPA #210 (Thornhill Community Plan) as amended by OPA #672 (Centre Street Plan), to redesignate the subject lands from “Special Policy Area” to “General Commercial.” 2. Zoning By-law Amendment File Z.13.019 to amend By-law 1-88 to rezone the subject lands from R1 Residential Zone to C1 Restricted Commercial Zone, together with site-specific zoning exceptions. PROPERTY: On the south side of Centre Street, east of Dufferin Street, 1445 Centre

Reg. 543/06) If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Vaughan before the proposed Official Plan Amendment is adopted the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of The City of Vaughan or The Regional Municipality of York, as the case may be, to the Ontario Municipal Board. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Vaughan before the proposed Official Plan Amendment is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
