PBL Expectation Focus This week’s focus for PBL is:
“Care for all Property”
Our PBL focus for this week is “Care for all property.” Caring for all property includes looking after the school, peers and your own property and using it with respect so that the property does not become damaged. Caring for all property also means using the property correctly. If everyone uses property correctly and safely then it shows that you are caring for everyone’s property.
5 and 10 Cent Challenge Pizza Lunch KA were our winning class of the P&C 5 and 10-cent challenge raising $263. We would like to thank Belvedere Pizzeria Ristorante for donating the pizzas to the school. The students certainly enjoyed their lunch!
Canteen News It has been wonderful to see the students being so independent with handing in their lunch orders before school. Thanking you Kelli and Paulina Canteen Supervisors
Dropping off and Picking Up Students at School Gates Thank you to parents and caregivers who have been following the dropping off and picking up procedures from our school gates. As COVID 19 is mainly transferred between adults
and as part of the procedures provided by the
Department of Education for schools to keep adults
on sites to a minimum, we are asking that parents
do not come into the school grounds to wait for
their children.
Kindergarten and Year 1 teachers will take students to the gates at Boonah, Yoolooma and Kooba Streets to meet parents. To make it easier for students to remember which gate they are going to, we will be using a colour code system (same as our house colours):
Boonah - Blue gates;
Yoolooma - Red gates
Kooba - Green gates;
Please make sure you tell your child which gate you will be meeting them at. Older siblings will meet their Kinder and Year 1 sibling at the gate.
