District Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to all the competitors at the Hawkesbury District

Athletics Carnival. You all represented Hobartville with exemplary

behaviour and great sportsmanship. We also had some fantastic

results. Congratulations to the senior girls relay team (Naomi,

Katelyn, Georgia and Mikayla) who won their event, Naomi, Katelyn

and Mikayla who came in that order 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the 12years

100m, Katelyn and Georgia for coming 1st and 3rd in the senior girls

200m and Georgia for coming first in the senior girls 800m. Naomi

also came 1st in senior girls high jump, Freya 2nd in the 11years girls

discus and Calieb 2nd in junior boys discus. All of these athletes with

be competing at the Regional Carnival on Wednesday 19th

September. Levi also had a fantastic day and he will be competing in

5 events at the Regional Carnival.

Dance Festival

Last week, I was lucky enough to have a seat at the matinee

performance for our Junior and Senior Dance Groups at the Blue

Mountains/ Nepean Dance Festival. Both performances were truly

amazing. Miss Holroyd has created extremely high quality dance

routines that were showcased. Thank you for all your hard work each week working

with both groups along with Miss Gelevski. Thank you to all the parents and family

members who also support our dance groups. It is greatly appreciated.

Kindergarten 2019

Don’t forget if you have a child starting Kindergarten next year, please get their

enrolment forms in. The 2019 Kindergarten Parent Information Evening will be on

Tuesday 30th October at 6pm.

Parents in the Playground

Just a reminder if you are collecting your child early, please wait in the front office. Your child will be paged to come

to the office with their bag. Please do not walk around the school or playground.

I will be taking Long Service Leave from Week 10 and will return in Week 4 next term. Mr Morabito will be sitting in

my chair for the 4 weeks. Please follow the usual protocol of seeing the classroom teacher first, then the stage

supervisor before going to Mr Morabito. Have a great end of Term 3 and break when it arrives.
