Thank you Eurovision Dunoon Style Students have had a planning session last Tuesday to think about what they would like to perform at our upcoming Eurovision Dunoon Style. This is totally student driven and it requires creative thinking and collaboration. Its always exciting to see the raw talent on display! Students could sing a song, perform a dance, tell some jokes, a story, a piece of poetry, or anything else that would be entertaining for an audience. Students then audition their item to a teacher for quality control! Were looking forward to our creative students displaying their talents. Our event will be held on Thursday 4th July, commencing at 9.30am. Kitchen Garden is on TUESDAY this week, 3pm - 4pm. If any students would like to stay aſter school to help, please text Lyndell on 0419040256 to confirm.

Citizen Scientists

Year 3/4 students are undertaking a Citizen

Scientist program in conjunction with Landcare

and a local Macadamia Farm. Our aim is to see the

real world application of things we learn at school.

There will be dip netting, insect collection and

dung beetle investigations. This will enable the

farmer and Landcare to gather baseline data of the

insects in the orchard and measure the health of

the wetland area which will help to gauge its

success as a method of pollinating the macadamia

trees. We hope to learn lots about pollinating in-

sects (and also to get a little bit muddy).
