DESCRIPTION

Research and design project based on a landscape architectural theory / idea / concept etc. The ideas that were chosen were "sustainability, the word 'eco', eco-tourism, culture and natural history. These ideas were used as a basis and the site that was chosen for implementing these concepts was based on the failed abandoned Sheraton Hotel on the island of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. The project is not real and is only hypothetical as It is for educational purposes. This document is the slideshow format for a presentation based on intial research on the site and case studies which contains ideas and themes which could be used on site with initial potentials and problems that would be faced onsite.
