Writing. My  signature/ describe your signature  using the words and phrases from the text. What your signature says about you:

to be honest I really don’t like my signature and I want to change it. I’ve got my first signature when I was in the 5th or 6rth grade. It was in Armenian language, but a year ago I changed it to English. It’s my name and It is really easy. I know if someone see it he/she will be able to easily duplicate it. So I want to change it too but I really don’t have any ideas of hard and beautiful signatures.

Reading.   NEF Can psychics really see the future? / slide 12, page 11NEF  Upper Intermediate  Workbook.  slide 4 ,1/a,b,c,d

What does the future hold?

Each day, we spend time thinking about the future and trying to predict it.

Of course, some people, such as fortune tellers, claim that they can see and accurately predict the future. I think they just guess by the person's age and appearance. Everyone sometimes can predicted something was going to happen. Our predictions are probably the result of a good guess based upon available data and past experiences rather than a vision of the future.

Some people even get paid to predict the future. Scientists called meteorologists make a living trying to predict what the weather is going to be like for the next few days, weeks, or months.

Predicting the future is a little less mysterious than it might first seem. All you need is some historical data and some basic mathematical skills and you, too, can make some good educated guesses about what's likely to happen in the future.

Comment  on the following topic . In some  sentences try to express your viewpoint.1.Some people believe that nowadays we have too many choices. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? It is common nowadays to hear people have many choices and it is true. There are so many activities and clubs, studios where you can learn different professions, get new skills. There is Internet which makes life easy in various fields, beginning from shopping to finding everything you need.2.Some people say that music is a good way of bringing people of different cultures and ages together. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

I agree Music has always been a key distinguisher of culture but many believe that it can also bridge cultural gaps and differences in age. Though I think some people overstate the impact of music leveling the differences between generations, I strongly believe that it brings people of different cultures together by expressing universal sentiments.3.Some people believe that schools should select students based on their academic skills. Do you agree or disagree?

Some people contend that mixed ability classes are more beneficial for children’s development than streaming them on the basis of judgement about their academic abilities. However, from my perspective, I disagree with this contention.4.When people get old, they tend to believe that the world was a better place when they were younger. Do you agree with this?

yes, because they may miss their childhood and friends. Life easier for children than for old people as they don’t have many problems to solve themselves.5.Some people think that a sense of competition should be encouraged in children. Others believe that children who are taught to co-operate rather than compete become more successful adults. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

There is too much debate about whether children should be learned to be more competitive or cooperative members of society. In my opinion, both behaviours are important and cooperation is more important than competition.

HOW TO BECOME A GOOD LEADERBeing a good leader takes work. It is not hard at all to 32 say the difference between a good and a bad boss. Exceptional leaders impressed those who are respected and 33 in by their team – have a lot of secret skills that they put to use every day.

Firstly, building relationships – both with your team and your partners – is crucial in leading a team. That means your success depends greatly 34 in interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize, understand, and manage our emotions, as well as understand the emotions of others. It’s a part of how we navigate social situations and then make decisions to 35 achieve goals. Several studies have found that a strong emotional intelligence is a top factor for a leader’s success. 36 according to the research, managers with the strongest emotional intelligence were much more likely to succeed.

Exceptional leaders are ones who regularly 37 remind employees of the main goal. A team needs to know what they’re marching toward. With a larger vision in mind, their day-to-day work has more purpose.

Great leaders 38 make sure their daily behavior is a model for their team. They’re reliable (meaning they always follow through on what they’ve promised), they respect people’s time (meaning they don’t make others wait unnecessarily), and they retain a thoughtful, objective approach to problems or issues.32   speak———-talk——tell———- say
