The Nebraska Library Commission supports education for librarians by providing programs, but also by providing scholarships and grants to aid individuals in furthering their professional education. Take a Course• Grant to individual• Public library staffers from accredited
libraries eligible• Library-related or directly job-related
courses• Continuing education—no courses that lead
to a degree• 100% reimbursement for successfully
completed course• Applications reviewed monthly
Course Providers
Attend a Conference• Grant to individual• Professional, out-of-state, library-
related events• One individual from a library per
event• 10% match (reimbursed at 90%)• Attendees must report via NCompass
