    1. Analyze effects of operating parameters of engines on engine efficiency, brake power and volumetricefficiency.

    2. Evaluate the main parameters on carburettor and injector.

    3. Investigate the effect of air fuel ratio on emission and engine power.

    4. Confirm that two-stroke engine should be banned due to the high pollution.

    1. Test rig of four stroke diesel engine with hydraulic dynamometer.

    2. Test rig of four stroke petrol engine with electrical dynamometer.

    3. Test rig of two stroke petrol engine with rope brake dynamometer.

    ACTIVE LEARNING ASSIGNMENTS: Preparation of power-point slides, which include videos, animations,

    pictures, graphics for better understanding theory and practical work The faculty will allocate chapters/ parts

    of chapters to groups of students so that the entire syllabus of Elements of Mechanical Engineering is covered.

    The power-point slides should be put up on the web-site of the College/ Institute, along with the names of the

    students of the group, the name of the faculty, Department and College on the first slide. The best three works
