Dramatize a pivotal scene from the first 1/3 of your book. Please do not summarize the scene. Rather, bring it to life in a short play, puppet show, or graphic text.

Select 2 – 3 pages that best represent the author’s style. Read the pages to the class and discuss the essential features of the writer’s prose.

Choose a central image in the book so far. Create something visual that explores the image’s significance (thematic value, resonance, development).
