Is History Day a required or optional project?
Required!!!
There must be a reason for this project. Here are 3 of the many:
1. Develop strong research skills
2. Expand critical thinking skills
3. Improve presentation skills
Stick around after class if you want to hear more.
There are 5 main categories:
1. Exhibit
2. Documentary
3. Performance
4. Website
5. Historical Paper
It is best to choose your category:A) First, even before you have a topic.B) After you have done some research.C) Last, preferably about a week or two
before the event.D) A and BE) B and CF) A, B, and C
D) A and B (but mostly B)
