D. Experience in Rampur Raza Library :

Work done by me During the Service of Rampur Raza Library Rampur from

24 May 1998 till date.

I have been working in Rmpur Raza Library Rampur for the last 18 years on contract basis since I joined in 24th May 1998 till date for cataloguing, indexing of Arabic Manuscripts, Deciphering or solving the ancient difficult text, and translating Persian, Arabic Documents, and old inscriptions, etc. The details of my works in Rampur Raza Library are as under:-

Technical work

1. I compiled descriptive catalogue of Arabic Manuscripts vol. VII, (Rhetoric) preserved in Rampur Raza library. (Published in 2015)

2. I compiled descriptive catalogue of Arabic Manuscripts Vol.10. (Lecturers) 'Muhazarat' preserved in Rampur Raza library.

(published 2015)

3. I compiled the index to the six volumes of Arabic manuscripts author wise and title wise both (prepared and published by Rampur Raza library in 2000)

4. I deciphered a life size beautiful rarest specimen Islamic calligraphy of 13 chapters of Holy Quran which was completely brittle and in the thousands of pieces. I also arranged the whole text of 30 chapters (parahs) in Quranic order.

5. I alphabetically arranged the index to eight registers of Urdu printed books of all subjects.

6. I have been preparing the basic information about subject, author title, scripts and period etc, of the manuscripts which were acquired by the Library time to time.

7. I have also guided and dealt with hundreds of foreign scholars who keep coming here (Rampur Raza Library) from all over the world, and helped them for their research topics, subjects, books and related academic needs. I always take a special interest for their help, be it British, American, German, or from Japan, Israel, Italy, and Arab countries also.

I have also been doing different sort of works for which I am asked to do from the authorities time to time according the needs of Raza library. Some of those works done by me are given below:-

8. I have been, answering the quarries from library collection about providing materials, etc, typing the letters in Urdu English, Arabic and also been typing the acknowledgments, events, press release, invitations, for meetings & other library programs.

9. Deciphering old coins, Art objects, bricks, calligraphies of rare MSS. like "Diwan-i-Hafiz" and other old inscriptions on the monuments.

10. I prepared the list of Arabic, Persian, Urdu manuscripts in "Allahabad museum" Allahabad (U.P) as a representative of Raza Library in September 2005.

Academic Experience:(in Raza Library Rampur)

1. I deciphered and translated in to Urdu (55) miniature paintings of "Hazrat Ali's Arabic couplets" about physical feature of prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and Serat-i-Nabawi preserved in Rampur Raza Library calligraphy collection, and also typed the text with translation through computer.

2. Deciphered and translated the text of Sixty three Important Mughal (Faramins) and Royal Documents related with Dargah Makanpur, preserved in the rare Manuscript Collection of Raza Library Rampur.(from Persian into Urdu. (Two volumes). (Ready to be Published).

3. I arranged Persian manuscript of 1300 pages "Roz Namcha" in chronological order, which was a sort of diary, and under treatment in conservation laboratory of this Library. (2006).

4. I completed the index of very important Persian manuscript "Gulzarul – Abrar" by Muhammad Ghhosi bin.Hasan Musa. Shattari. scribed in 1093 (A.H) in "Balda -I-Tattah" by Abul Mukarim, this Manuscript contents Biography (tazkirah) of 585 Sufiyas, kings, authors, writers and other historical personalities.

5. I attended a 10 days’ workshop held in Raza library on "Preventive Conservation of Manuscripts” from 14 to 23 September 2004 as an interpreter between English orators and audience.

6. I trained all the catalogers of manuscripts in Raza Library of related languages, and I have been supervising and guiding them in the Section of

Cataloguing since March 2012-till date, some of those catalogues have been published from the Library, and some of them are still in pipeline.

1. Coordinated in the exhibition of Calligraphies in Rampur Raza Library and

deciphered Persian text of Fifty Calligraphies, explained in to English, and

prepared the catalogue of calligraphies (11 to 23 July 2015).

2. Coordinated the 19 Days exhibition on “Seerat-un-Nabi” in Rampur Raza

Library and prepared the catalogue of Seerat-un-Nabi, displayed manuscripts

and printed books, conducted the inaugural session. (7-25 January 2015).

3. Coordinated two days National Seminar on the topic of “Urdu Tibbi

Makhtutat; Ahmiyat, Ifadiyat aur Zaroorat” Organized by Rampur Raza

Library, Rampur in collaboration with NCPUL, (8th, 9th February 2014), and

short-listed the papers printed by the library in the book form.

4. Coordinated 10 days Exhibition of Manuscripts and printed books related to

“The History of Islam in the light of books” Organized by Rampur Raza

Library Rampur. Displayed manuscripts, prepared the Book let catalogue of

Islamic History, conducted inaugural session, etc. (7th to 18 November, 2013).

5. Participated and contributed in International Seminar on “Malfuzat of Sufis of

India: Source of Indian History and Culture” organized by Rampur Raza

Library, Rampur, on 24th to 26th October, 2013.” and conducted academic

session.

6. Participated and presented Masnavi with explanation in a Cultural program

“Masnavi Khwani of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi” organized by Rampur Raza
