Objectives  The students will be able to define and explain the 8 academic vocabulary words.  The students will be able to pre-write an essay containing a well defined thesis statement, at least 3 topic sentences, at least 3 supporting details for each of the sentences and a concluding sentence.  The students will be able to draft a properly formatted business letter containing at least 3 body paragraphs in which they will embody one of the academic skills in drafting each of the paragraphs.
