0When athlete does not have a head or neck injury0 Instruct athlete to roll on back0 Cross athletes arms across their chest0 Assistant places their arms underneath the arms of the

athlete0 Pull athlete to side of pool

0 If athlete is not breathing0 Remove athlete from pool quickly and perform CPR

0Head and neck injuries0 Special training for in water spine boarding
