Homily of H.E. Mons. Claudio Gatti of May 4, 2008Homily of H.E. Mons. Claudio Gatti of June 7, 2008 Homily of H.E. Mons. Claudio Gatti of June 8, 2008Prayer formulated by H.E. Mons. Claudio Gatti on May 13, 2007

In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he wastaken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. Afterhis suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appearedto them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. On one occasion, while he waseating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Fatherpromised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you willbe baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at thistime going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or datesthe Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They werelooking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood besidethem. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who hasbeen taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." (Acts1:1-11)

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they sawhim, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heavenand on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in thename of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I havecommanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Mt 28:16-20)

The first reading taken from the Acts of the Apostles and the passage of the Gospel of Matthewtell the same great event: the Ascension of Jesus to Heaven. To better understand the Word ofGod, details too are often very important: both pieces refer to episodes that occurred after Jesus’Resurrection. Although Christ had manifested several times after the Resurrection, somedisciples still doubted. "The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told themto go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted." (Mt 28:16) In these verses there is atranslation error. Surely after Resurrection the Apostles had no doubt as they saw, talked and atewith Jesus: Saint Paul reminds us that if Christ had not risen our faith would be completely vain;then the Apostles no longer doubted Christ after His Resurrection and are witnesses to thisevent. It is logical to ask why our Lord, having once manifested to the Apostles and to other disciplesafter the resurrection, did not return to the Father at once, but remained on Earth for forty days.Sometimes we are superficial and hasty in reading the Word of God, we have never dwelled onthis point that can only be understood in function of Christ's Love. He stayed forty days on Earthto complete His doctrine and teaching in the light of His Resurrection to make the Apostles betterunderstand the meaning of His teachings, especially the one repeatedly proclaimed: theAnnunciation of the Passion, Death, but also Resurrection. Jesus wanted that His Apostles had nodoubt and uncertainty on this mystery. I am convinced that Jesus' teaching, just as it was the casein His public life, continued even after the Resurrection, not only to the whole Apostolic Collegebut also to every single Apostle. This does not emerge from the Gospel, but it is inferred from Jesus’ heart and intelligence, whorelated to each Apostle respecting their character, feelings, culture, and sociological substratumin such a way that the teaching is, at the same time, common and universal for everyone, but alsopersonal and private for each one.

ASCENSION OF OUR LORD

Jesus is behaving like a good parent who knows He is soon going to die and go up to Heavenand is calling each child for the latest recommendations. If we men normally behave in this way,all the more so did Jesus. So there was a greeting and a last teaching to make it clear that He wasHe and not just a ghost. Do you remember the Apostles’ bewilderment as Jesus appearedsuddenly when the doors were shut? Christ ate with them several times and it is logical to thinkthat another great marvelous event took place: the Eucharistic co-celebration with His Apostles. The Sacred Scripture is silent about this particular, it recounts the establishment of the Sacramentof the Eucharist, but no one is telling how and when the Apostles began to celebrate it. I love tothink, and no one can forbid it, that it was Jesus Himself to start the Eucharistic celebrations withhis Apostles; this is my idea, suggested by my heart, it is no certainty and I hope to find thiswonderful detail in Jesus’ life that, as He announced, will be written by me under His dictation. In this regard, the Apostles would have well understood what Jesus said: "I will be with you untilthe end of time" that is "I Jesus the Eucharist" Today’s two passages, the Gospel and the firstreading seem to contradict if they are not read with attention and intelligence: in the Gospel weresolved that Ascension probably occurred on Mount Tabor, that of transfiguration, whileJerusalem is indicated in the first reading. The passages must be integrated, one is the historicalconcatenation of the other: as Luke is saying in the Acts of the Apostles, Jesus, during the lastearthly supper, gave some recommendations, thereafter the Apostles went to the mountainwhere, together with other five hundred Disciples, watched His Ascension to Heaven. AfterAscension they returned to Jerusalem because the promise of Pentecost had to be fulfilled, andthere, together with Our Lady, they prayed and waited for the descent of the Holy Spirit in thecenacle. Here, the Mother of the Eucharist encouraged them to resume the Eucharistic celebrationthat she too attended with an exceptional faith, with a particular attraction and immense lovebecause she would relive, together with her children, the Apostles, the same great experience ofthe last supper on Holy Thursday. You see how the word of God becomes clear, loving andunderstandable. "I go" Jesus said "to prepare a place for you in Heaven".I always maintained that we should not think of Heaven as a physical and material place, but it isa condition; is the vision of God, it is His contemplation, is the enjoyment of the manifestation, asfar as possible and understandable to man, of the Trinitarian mystery and God's very life. For usmen, as long as we are on Earth, this reality is unconceivable. On the Heaven we can only stuttersomething, something that is beautiful and is the manifestation of God, but we cannot go anyfurther. Not even those, and St. Paul is among them, who have been able to have experience ofHeaven, were able to describe it, because there are no suitable words or concepts that can make itunderstandable to us men. It is a reality that goes beyond the human experience and nature, so itis true that God does not manifest Himself to men for what He is until men live on Earth. God'smanifestation takes place in Heaven, because only then the human nature is made by Godcapable of sustaining His vision and understand His life. You know in fact that God is showingto Marisa through images, never for what He is. Then the Heaven becomes a desirable, attractivereality we are longing for, as we recite in the prayer "Jesus, sweet master". Especially in timeswhen human nature is subjected to the hard law of suffering, the Heaven becomes a desirablereality for those who are tired and exhausted. Some materialist philosophers believe that theHeaven has been invented by us Christians as a compensation for the sufferings that man hasexperienced during his earthly life. I said it already and I repeat it again, this is their concept ofHeaven, for us Christians it is not just this. The Heaven goes beyond human nature, it is the mostbeautiful, high, intelligent, noble and perfect thing that there can be and we find it only in God.So isn’t it a spontaneous and legitimate desire to possess it? Thus it is not just an escape from theterrible earthly reality, but it is also an aim, a goal and the most important and greatest goalsrequire a big effort and suffering to be achieved. In fact, Jesus said: "The Kingdom of Heaven hassuffered violence and the violent take it by force" (Mt 11:12), only the strong, the violent ones, or thosewho fully manifest their greatest strength, can conquer the Heaven and finally join with God; we

too hope to be among them. The Heaven must always be our aim, the ultimate aim; we must livethis expectation as Mary and the Apostles did, with the faith coming from Jesus. We must livethis expectation with the help and grace coming from Jesus the Eucharist, even if sometimes wefeel like collapsing, violently shaken by contrasting winds. Christ, who instituted the Eucharistand celebrated it with His Apostles, is inviting us to join this banquet to be then admitted to theeternal banquet, which is that of infinite joy with God.Praised Jesus Christ.

And in his teaching he said: “Beware of the scribes, who desire to walk in long robes, and to havesalutations in the marketplaces, and chief seats in the synagogues, and chief places at feasts: they thatdevour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers; these shall receive greatercondemnation.”

And he sat down over against the treasury, and beheld how the multitude cast money into thetreasury: and many that were rich cast in much. And there came a poor widow, and she cast in twomites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and said unto them: “Verily I sayunto you, This poor widow cast in more than all they that are casting into the treasury: for they all didcast in of their superfluity; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.” (Mk12:38-44)

As I was reading the passage of today's Gospel, certain expressions reminded me of somepainful situations of the present time. In fact, if you replace some terms, especially in the firstpart of the gospel passage, you will have the photograph of today's reality in the Church.“Beware of the scribes, who desire to walk in long robes” the scribes were the doctors of the law,and today they are the experts, theologians, priests, bishops, and unfortunately even higher; The Gospel warns us of reading what they write: see how it is always close to the presenttime! “They desire to walk in long robes”, you have no idea how much some ecclesiastical andliturgical clothes cost; one cannot claim they are worn in God's honor because I reply that bydisplaying precious and expensive fabrics they show off their vanity. You can give God thebest by spending even less and giving the extra to the poor. When reading the Gospel andcame across the expression “to have salutations in the marketplaces”, my memory goes back tocertain religious manifestations where, despite the presence of Jesus the Eucharist, they werehonoring those who presided over that celebration and not Christ himself. They even told methat a priest, while Jesus the Eucharist was present, informed the assembly that the work tobuild a swimming pool was over; we must be scandalized by these attitudes, we could havestood up and shouted that this was a behavior of a merchant, not a priest.

We do not have to keep silent in front of them, and there are many, who just want toemerge, appear in television programs, occupy the first places and the first pages ofnewspapers. In the Gospel it is plainly affirmed that these powerful people, both laymen andecclesiastics, glorify each other, praising each other so they can rise up to the stars. I havenever heard them honoring Christ, nor shouting "Up with Christ".

Prior to the Mass I was thinking out loud: "When will this terrible law where Cain always killsAbel end? Why should Abel always be the victim and Cain always be the persecutor?" This happenseverywhere: both small and large communities. The worst thing is that the Cains want tomake it believe they work for the Lord's sake, in short they make fun of God. They have theirhands clasped and their eyes lowered in front of men or television, but then inside their ownhome they do not even recite an Our Father, this means to be hypocrites.

The Church must be free from hypocrites who recite long prayers, sometimes jotted downin writing, but empty and cold, and anyway some would say that they are beautiful andexpressive prayers; flatterers are always around and always will be: they are part of thefamily of hypocrites. They are only flattering for their own interest, for history teaches us thatwhen a powerful person falls and is replaced by another, the latter is immediately payedrespect even if he was despised before. The world cannot go on like that, but we, andeverybody is against us, do not have to lower our guard: on our identity document we should

qualify as "pain in the neck". If you notice something wrong as in the episode I told youabout, you have to go to that priest and ask him if he would keep the same behavior in frontof the Pope. If he chases you away it is a sign of weakness and you have to point out that he ischasing you away only because he has no other argument and knows he is wrong.

We cannot continue to shut our eyes and turn to the other side, even if we are facing abishop or a cardinal, for they have greater responsibility and will receive a more severepunishment. Read the letters of God and you will notice that they are pregnant with theWord of God; quite often God, Jesus and Our Lady said that those who soil their works willgo to hell. Be aware that we are talking about priests, bishops, cardinals and perhaps beyondbut for God it makes no difference. Instead the Lord loves the little, weak, suffering andhumble people and we belong to this category. To the others, to the enemies of God, Jesussaid, "Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels!"(Mt 25:41) and it is not just the laity who are in the category of the damned. In fact, in today’sGospel, referring to the scribes or doctors and experts of the law, Jesus says that "they willreceive a stricter punishment" that is a stronger one because they are aware of how really thingsare.

My dear, we have reached a point where the “Abels”, and we belong to this category, haveto cry out to God with all their strength: "It is now time, oh Lord, to stop ruining, staining, destroying, hurting Your Church, You only can do it." There is too much evil, there is too muchbad faith, there is too much dirt, arrogance, and we cannot go on like that. Shortly, televisionnews and services, newspapers, magazines will talk about the World Youth Day in Australia(The 23rd World Youth Day took place from 15th to 20th July 2008 in Sydney, Australia, and was thesecond WYD to see the participation of Pope Benedict XVI. Editor’s note). These big assembliesserve only to gather a lot of people as proof of power!

But let us go back to the Gospel: when the crowd followed Jesus to exalt Him as their King,He escaped. Instead, it seems to me that today in the Church there is a different attitude, theyonly rush where there are oceanic but spiritually arid gatherings, and to organize these eventsthey even spend millions of euros. I recollect the episode of the Gospel where hypocritedoctors criticize Mary Magdalene when she broke the vessels containing the scents used tosprinkle Jesus' feet. Judah, on this occasion was a master: "Why was this ointment not sold forthree hundred denarii and given to the poor?" (Jn 12:5), then I say the same thing: they couldavoid these expensive gatherings and give money to the poor. How many schools, hospitalsand leper hospitals could be built in all these years when this World Youth Day has beenorganized! They have devoured and burnt floods of money just for the vanity of a few days.Yes, I must do the character of the "naysayer", this is my job; You have to help me in this and Iam happy and proud if what I say today will reach high places as I think. To them I shout inthe face: you brood of vipers, whitewashed sepulchers. If you have carefully read thepresentations of the Letters of God, this is very clearly said. I express a simple statement: youwill remember what Our Lady said to me: "I wish you would go to places where there is poverty,"do you remember? The poor countries where the various Popes have gone are just a few.How can you go three, four times in the United States and never go to Ghana or Sudan, forexample? I continue to receive letters from Christians in those areas that cry out for help. While in Rome they talk and discuss, children die and defenseless people are suffering; I'veread that every few minutes many people are dying by hunger and wonder how we sit at thetable and eat without thinking of all these children who have nothing. I'm not saying we mustnot eat, but we must do something; we only send telegrams when disasters strike, but they donot fill their belly. How far away we are from the Gospel, and my bitterness is profound, forafter two thousand years there are not enough people in the Church to think as Christ: "For Iwas hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and

you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visitme." (Mt 25:42-43) but when this crowd of colorful ecclesiastics with multicolored garmentswill appear before God, what can they say for their justification? The afterlife does exist, hellis full of people who do not love and who did not love, but the Heaven is full of people wholoved, Purgatory is full of people who loved but with some failings. If love is missing, you goto hell, if it is present you are saved, when it is present in massive form you fly immediatelyto Heaven.

One last remark. I am a subscriber to Avvenire, the newspaper of the Italian Bishops'Conference and every day after reading it, or most of it, I close it up and wonder if I'm the onewho does not understand or are the others. I do not feel at all in harmony with some of thebehaviors of the churchmen; I well know some situations, but I read completely differentthings: all satisfied, happy and contented with exaltative titles and praises that, with somechurchmen, persist in time. After months they still receive praises and appreciations andwhat have they done? They went to a place and started praying; we always do it and whythey did not talk about it? I'm never silent! There so much to be really changed, but we cannotdo it alone! May God intervene as soon as possible, for I fear that with time we could not onlydry up, but live in an oppressive melancholy: you see evil but you cannot defeat it and this isreally awful. That is why I say, “Lord, hurry up”. It is becoming impossible for me and I hopefor you too to keep seeing and knowing certain things that destroy; sorry but that's what Iwanted to tell you.

Homily of June 8,2008

1st Reading: Hos 6:3-6; Psalm 49; 2nd Reading: Rm 4:18-25; Gospel: Mt 9:9-13

- 13 -

Brothers, in hope Abraham believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, ashe had been told, “So shall your offspring be.” He did not weaken in faith when he considered his ownbody, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered thebarrenness of Sarah's womb. No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grewstrong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he hadpromised. That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.” But the words “it was countedto him” were not written for his sake alone, but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe inhim who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised forour justification (Rm 4:18-25).

You have an extract from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Romans, and you rejoiced because byattending the bible class last Friday night, you have understood the wonderful concepts andthe very high truths contained in this passage of an extremely important letter for us. Todaywe will not reflect on it, I'm sorry for those who were not present at the bible class, howeverlet us ponder the word of God, for it is so great, beautiful and deep that any passage laysitself open to deep and proper consideration for our spiritual life.

Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us asthe showers, as the spring rains that water the earth. What shall I do with you, O Ephraim? What shallI do with you, O Judah? Your love is like a morning cloud, like the dew that goes early away. ThereforeI have hewn them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth, and my judgment goesforth as the light. For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burntofferings. (Hos 6:3-6)

Hosea is a little-known prophet, one of the twelve Minor Prophets. The adjective "minor", inthis case, does not mean that he is less important than others, it means that Hosea and theother eleven prophets belonging to this category have written little, far less than those whohave written so much as Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel. Their writings are short andHosea, among the twelve, is the oldest. He prophesied over twenty-five years, from around725 to 750, and like any other prophet has his own characteristic: in fact, he is the prophetwho stands apart from the others because he is forced by God to foretell the end anddestruction, at least momentarily, of the Kingdom of Israel, which will be eliminated, defeated, and enslaved by the Assyrians. For the Jews, this is an unacceptable discoursebecause despite their weaknesses, their betrayals, and many of them they did, even with theirestrangement from God, they have always considered themselves the chosen people, theLord's favorites. Woe to those who feel this way and then do not match up with acommitment! We can also define Hosea as the prophet of love: he treated the various nuancesof love in such a way that in his writings seems to flow his own personal experience; In fact, those who had known him judged him as a person rich with a strong emotional and affectivecharge, and sometimes also passionate, and in love, all this makes a live and vitalrelationship. Let us now stop and ponder why Israel was, on several occasions, conqueredand enslaved by enemies, mostly pagans. Hosea, a prophet of love, provides a simpleexplanation based on the fact that Israel did not love God as much as should have done and

PEARLS OF THE MOTHER OF THE EUCHARIST N. 135

he says it very clearly by comparing the love of the Jewish people with something with littleconsistency: "Your love is like a morning cloud". Hosea does not say that it does not exist, butthat is scarce, it is like dew vanishing at sunrise. The dew has a short life, the first rays of thesun, the first heat in the morning are enough to make it vanish. Clearly, if love is scarce thenwhat is given to God is scarce. We give love to God in proportion to the love we have, if wehave big love, to God we give a lot, if we have little love, to God we give little; But Godcannot be satisfied with little love, God must be loved with all our being. Our Lord must be atthe hierarchy apex of the loves we have, for the stronger, more robust and vigorous is thelove we have for God, the stronger, more robust and vigorous is the love we have and showtoward our neighbor, starting with those closest to us: our family members. Only God canguarantee us our love for our wife, husband, children, friends, community. If we love God,He will give us so much love to be able to pour it into the hearts of all people and there willalways be a surplus of love that we can return to God. This love coming within us is spreadby us, is spread to others, and then returns to God. Quite meaningful is, in this regard, God'sassertion: "Love I want and not sacrifice". Start to realize how much the Letters of God areimpregnated with public revelations: "First learn to love then pray", "Love I want and notsacrifice", are two sentences that have the same meaning. This must be the fast rule in our life.

At that time, as Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, andhe said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him. And as Jesus reclined at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and were reclining with Jesus and his disciples. Andwhen the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectorsand sinners?” But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but thosewho are sick. Go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to callthe righteous, but sinners. (Mt 9:9-13)

In the passage of the Gospel we have read today, Jesus, on the same day, gives two sharpslaps to those who do not love: the hypocrites and Pharisees. The one who loves neitherpretends nor acts, nor shows off in the least, he loves and that’s all, even if no one knows itand no one sees it because for those who love, God's approval is enough, is the only thing thatcounts even if no one gets to know it. The Pharisees liked to have followers, to have disciples, and the more they had the more they felt important, they would have never accepted, amongtheir followers, someone listed as a public sinner. Jesus behaves just the opposite and callsMatthew. I wish that today you could see the apostle's call in this light and in this context. Ofcourse there is Matthew’s generous adherence that will reach the point of martyrdom, butwhat I would like to emphasize, and which has never been revealed, is the lesson given byour Lord. After this first lesson, Jesus also gives the Pharisees a second lesson, a second slap. When he sits at the table, besides Him there are sinners and the usual false hypocrites arescandalized; even in this case, they show to be cowards by not going directly to Jesus, butturning to the Apostles: “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” The apostlesrefer it to Jesus, who replies: “I desire mercy, and not sacrifice”, “Love I want and not sacrifices.”Love is a multifaceted, a many-sided reality, and one of these is mercy. Mercy is to love, forgive, help and respect those who make mistakes. Mercy is a derivation of love, there can beno mercy if there is no love. Here Jesus speaks of Himself, He wants to teach us that if Heforgives us sinners then all the more so, among us, we must have the same attitude He has forus, weak and sinners. We, therefore, must show mercy to our brothers, even more than Jesushimself, since we all are at the same level. Jesus, on the other hand, is at an infinite, immense, and immeasurable level. That's why He says: "Mercy I want and not sacrifice." To have mercymeans to stand beside the weak, the frail, the needy, without a show, with softness andcausing no suffering and shame for the people we show our feelings and affection, keeping

always in mind, and this is beautiful and wonderful, what Jesus said: "I came for sinners." Weall are sinners, but with this sentence Christ means those who make amends andacknowledge it. When man acknowledges it and feels a sinner, Jesus takes him in His arms, brings him higher, higher and higher and closer to God's throne. As far as the others areconcerned, the answer has been given to us and is contained in the parable of the Phariseeand the publican, from where the Pharisees come out with an additional sin on theirconscience: pride. Our Lord does not like attitudes of superiority over the others, Christtaught us fraternity, wants fraternity, demands it, and fraternity in the Church must be againprominent. Fraternity does not mean not recognizing the variety of services, but those whowant to be chiefs must follow Christ’s example and serve. Jesus never said to dominate, arethe powerful people of the Earth, the kings, who dominate; His followers must not dominate, and when a priest, a bishop, a cardinal and above dominate, you can say: "You are not a trueservant of God" and we can add: "Go away Satan, for in you there is the root of pride andarrogance." This is Christianity, my dear. Until not long ago I spoke to you about Christianityusing a more gentle and soft tone, but it is time to stop it, it is the time of John the Baptist, thetime has come for the complaints that Christ Himself talked about, the time has come when, facing such evil, wherever it comes from, we cannot bow our head, or worse, to bury it in thesand, but raise it and say: "You cannot say that, you cannot do this." This means to beapostles. We respect and admire the martyrs, and God is also calling us to this: a morecourageous and suffered martyrdom than the martyrs who gave their lives and, in a shorttime, were killed. Christ calls us, not only as our community, but all Christians, to a strong, courageous and persevering testimony. If we have the constancy of doing so, as we have seenin St. Paul's letter, constancy generates proven virtue, proven virtue generates hope. We arein the year of hope and we take advantage of this circumstance to refresh this theologicalvirtue, for only when it will be green and blooming, God will smile and say enough: "Getready for me for I will come down in your midst in a powerful and miraculous manner."Praised be Jesus Christ.

God, One and Triune, God the Father, God the Son and our brother, God the Holy Spirit, giver of all good, of all grace and guest of those who live together with You, God One andTriune, equal in divinity, One in nature and Triune in Persons, we creatures of the Earth, webow reverently in adoration, we proclaim you Holy, Holy, Holy and raise to You, oh Lord, our praise, our song, our love and our faith.

Today, oh God, as it is one of the many feasts of the Mother of the Eucharist and we wantto remember her as Lady of Fatima, allow me to address my prayer to the one You haveraised above all the angels, all saints and made her full of Your grace.

Oh Mother, Mother of Heaven, we are accustomed to invoke you as the Mother of theEucharist since you have been appearing here for years with this title, the greatest and mostbeautiful title to which you care the most, but today is the ninetieth anniversary of yourapparitions in Fatima. many times I have said that Lourdes, Fatima and Rome are united by asingle golden thread; there is a beginning, a continuation, a development, and a conclusion ofGod’s plan, and you, Mother of Heaven, you are the first and greatest collaborator andresponsible for it. Mary, on this very important anniversary for the Church, which, unfortunately, many of her shepherds do not consider, we all and I in particular, entrust youthe Church founded by Your Son of whom you are Mother. The third secret not yet revealed, puts us in a state of affliction because men disregard the plans of God and instead ofcollaborating on their implementation, they fight them, minimize them, neglect them. In theirintent it is much more important their own glory than the Glory to God, their personalsuccess that the Triumph of God, the celebration of their name than the name of God. In thisway, the Church is abused and offended, they make fun of your children who are consideredas children without intelligence and without reason. They claim to dish up their truth, but weseek, oh Mother, the truth of God; They want to impose their words and explanations, but weseek the words and explanations coming from God. The centrality of the revealed messageconcerns the Church, the Church we love, and for which we have continually raised prayersto God, offered fasting, big and small sacrifices; for its rebirth, some souls called up by God,including our sister Marisa, offered a suffering that from a human point of view is shockingand scandalous. All this shows how much we love the Church and how much we want it tobe rejuvenated clean, or rather cleaned up again.

Oh Lord, Your patience is infinite but you also told us that eventually if men do notrespond to Your call, to Your appeal, You will intervene by saying enough and firmlygrasping the Church situation. From it You will remove mercenaries, unworthy shepherds, predacious wolves and poisonous snakes that distribute poison and bad example instead ofdistributing healthy food.

Oh Mother, believe me, we are a little impatient, we are like pawing foals who want to taketo the race and get to the finish line. God asked for patience, silence, and immolation.

Now, Oh God, I, Your Bishop ordained by You, on behalf of all Your children, who arehonest, good and represent the true and genuine Church, ask You to cleanse and rebuild YourChurch. It is an unceasing suffering to hear how many lies the mercenaries continue to say,how many false truths continue to propagate by taking advantage of their office, theirposition, their authority. We are ready to spring up at Your signal, but You are the one to sayenough is enough; we, small, weak, and fragile creatures cannot say it. Who are we to take

Your place? Too many have done it or pretend to do so, but we want to take place and stay inthe position You have shown us. Whoever is in command must command, whoever has tolove must love, whoever has to serve must serve, that's what You taught us and that we,despite our weaknesses, frailties and grievances, have tried, with effort and commitment, toaccomplish and implement. Lord, at Your feet is the Church, look at her. Your gaze is morepenetrating than ours and gets where we fail or are unable to get. Your Church, I believe I cansymbolically say and establish a comparison, is scourged and covered with sorrows, emanates suffering, sweat and blood; it is the pierced and painful face and body of your Sonon the cross. There is no difference today between Christ the Crucified and the Church HisMystical Body, also crucified. The priests, the doctors of the Church, the Pharisees havepersecuted, covered with spit, wounded and pierced your Son, and even today priests, doctors of the Church and Pharisees are piercing through Your Church.

Oh Lord, Our Lady welcomed in her womb the pierced and killed body of the Son; Now Ientrust her with the mystical body, Your Church, so she may embrace and hold her on herknees, and as your Son has risen, so may Your Church rise again. After the Passion of theOne, after the passion of the other, we, Oh God, await for the resurrection which will only befruit of Your love and power. Mother, Mother of the Eucharist, Our Lady of Fatima give toGod, One and Triune, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, this heartfelt prayer and may you enrich itwith your love and transform it with your faith in a pure and fiery supplication. All this forthe Glory of God, for the salvation of souls, for the rebirth of the Church.

When We all will be ready we will celebrate you on Earthand in Heaven.Marisa - I wanted to tell you something, but try to hear you only. Our Lady - How do I manage to hear all alone, everyone here have ears to hear.Marisa - Do not talk all the time about Marisa, for I am embarrassed, I wish I couldhide. When we speak about all the people is nicer. Let me talk about my young people, about the children, about the little cenacle, and especially about the Holy Bishop, that’s the way I like it.Our Lady - Must We do what you say or what We say?Marisa - Oh no, please, what You say, but I have given You an advice. Can we give anadvice to Our Lady?Bishop - As a daughter, yes.Marisa - I can give an advice as a daughter. Our Lady - Dear children, it is a great joy for me to see you gathered here, even if youare not all that many, the number does not matter for us, the important thing is to loveeveryone and to be fond of each other. Little Marisa if you cannot sing, it does notmatter, you may sings with your heart.Marisa - It is not the same thing. Our Lady - My dear children, I wanted to thank you for the intention you have chosenfor your sister and for the prayers you continue to recite. You wonder: why God doesnot make up His mind?Marisa - Yes it’s true, I too have asked it more than once, but why God does not makeup His mind, what more does He want? I gave everything, more than anything. Our Lady - If God does not make up His mind, it means that there is still something todo.Marisa - No the suffering, not that one, I had enough, I’ve had too much of it. I want totake this opportunity to tell you to help the Bishop, the cenacle, the young people, yes, let’s say young, and the small children who are very smart. Have you seen how manychildren are here? Are you happy when you see the kids, right? Our Lady - I want you to continue to pray for that intention, and that the decision maycome quickly for her and for you.Marisa - You know, I have everything ready, I’m not missing anything. I may even goto Purgatory, just take me away, I’m tired of living. Dear little Madonna, how much I love you and how much I will always love you andall of the Heaven. Our Lady - Instead, Miss little Marisa, the Smile of God, where did it go?Marisa - He got it. Have you got it? The Bishop has got it.Our Lady - Then recite it, what are you waiting for?Marisa - Well, when it will be ready. Our Bishop, when he sits at the golden chair, isalways busy. Where is the Bishop? In his studio. He has a lot to do, we must help him.My dear little Madonna, see what you can do for me. I am embarrassed to say it, but I

am very tired to keep on living on Earth. It’s a world I do not like, and we say thatGod created man in his image and likeness, but where is the man in his image andlikeness, what happened to him? Already at the beginning there was the killing ofAbel. God created man in his image and likeness, but men do not resemble him, especially the big chiefs. What are we supposed to do?Our Lady - You all nothing, just pray with all your heart. I am glad to see you amongyour loved ones, even though, between ourselves, it took you a lot, to the point thatyou were about to give up to go down, but the joy of staying among the others wasstronger and you came down. You will see, we promised that we would have helpedyou to be always seated and you will be sitting all the time: there is no need to put thechair, be goody-goody and we will help you.Marisa - As you wish. Listen, are you going to tell my Spouse when He is going tomake up his mind and come and get me to be all for Him? He is saying I am hisspouse, He has even chosen a song, then what? Here I am, I am all ramshackle, so theysay in Italian, I am not well, I do not feel well at all, but I will not tell my family. Youalways say I am in a very serious condition, and yet I feel a bloomed flower. Our Lady - Do not joke, little Marisa, you know what your condition is.Marisa - Yes, yes, but a joke is helping us to look a little higher. Anyway thank youbecause you have given the cenacle the opportunity to pray for my departure. I wantto leave, I am tired to live on Earth, take me away, now I have given everything. I havenothing more to give. Our Lady - Do you think so?Marisa - No, do not say that to me because I have nothing to give, I have giveneverything, finish. Mom, I see you are smiling. It is true that Our Lady was joking?Grandmother Iolanda - Yes, my daughter. We always would like to take something fromthose on Earth, especially when the person is good, but the exhaustion is so great, andthe pain is great.Marisa - Hush, the choir is singing: "A voice ..." I have no voice. Why don’t you giveme a little of it and give me a chance to sing, I used to enjoy singing so much. Our Lady - My dear children, I am addressing you all, thanks for the prayers, keep onpraying, love your sister, but especially love your Bishop, he needs your help and yourunderstanding. Every so often there is someone going astray. Then he apologizes andcomes back. One must be always good.Marisa - I too, occasionally go out of the track and then back. Anyway, I thank you onbehalf of everybody and please: keep on helping us, and make in such a way that mydeparture may take place as soon as possible, otherwise the dress is going to get ugly. Our Lady - All right. I am joining with all the Angels and Saints and, of course, thereare also God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, St. Joseph, all the Popesand Saints. Together with your Holy Bishop I give you my blessing. Bye-byeeverybody.Marisa - Did you hear what voice I have got? You are more and more beautiful, mymom too is beautiful, you all are beautiful.

Remembering the Eucharistic Miracles...16th may 2000On May 16 the Mother of the Eucharist brought into the thaumaturgical placea big bleeding host and she put it on a little plant full of flowers.Marisa, obeying Our Lady, told Don Claudio how this last Eucharistic miraclehad happened. A clergyman, who still occupies a very important place in theecclesiastical hierarchy and whose identity was revealed by Our Lady firstonly to the bishop and the visionary and then also to the young people, afterthe consecration saw some drops of blood coming out of the big host. Insteadof being delighted, he got bored for what was happening under his eyes, withan angry gesture he took away the blood-stained host and asked the attendantan other host in order to continue the celebration of the H. Mass and not to

allow the people present to realize the Eucharistic miracle. The celebrant was going to use the blood-stainedhost in a black mass, so Our Lady immediately subtracted it to the sacrilegious celebrant and brought it to us,because she knew very well that we would have welcome it with love and faith.

17th may 1998On may 17, 1998, in Marisa’s bedroon Jesus put on some flowers a bighost that was issuing some drops of blood. (.. .) The Mother of theEucharist told us how the miracle of the bleeding host happened: "Jesusbrought the host which was taken away from a pr ies t who wascelebrating for habit and who was not believing in what he was doing inthat moment. The blood began to gush and I told Jesus: "Let's take thathost and bring it to the little corner of Paradise, the thaumaturgicalplace, because there it will be loved, adored and respected".

18th may 2000On may 18, 2000, the Bishop, after celebrating the H. Mass, while was comingback into the house, he was assailed by a strong perfume, coming from the roomwhere are kept the hosts that bled. He opened the door of the room and hisglance was attracted by the white statue, on which had bled the Eucharist put byOur Lady on November 11, 1999.. (...) Don Claudio murmured: "My God" andprostrated himself to adore the divine blood that was coming out for the secondtime, after some months, from the same host. The following day the Mother of the Eucharist said: "My beloved children, a hostput on the little white statue has bled again. The miracle speaks clearly and says thatmen don't convert their heart. My poor Jesus who was persecuted, slandered and killed2000 years ago, today is in still sadder and more horrible conditions. It is not a good signthat from a host that already bled, blood and water have come out again".

31st may 1997On 31st may Eucharistic miracles followed one another. At 5:45 p.m. Our Lady brought twelve hosts that sheput on the flowers of a plant in Marisa's bedroom. As soon as the adoration for the closing of the month ofMay ended, some young people came back into the church and they saw on the altar the hostensory whichwas not there before; it contained a big blood-stained host. Our Lady had brought the blood-stained Eucharist, she had taken the hostensory and put the host inside.
