B. Darling and P. J. Stein (Temple University Press). The chapter will regard the role sociology plays in his life. Engagement Rachel Einwohner was quoted in Purdues Exponent on Octo- ber 16 in an arcle about protest and free speech. Linda Renzulli hosted the Midwest SOE (Sociology of Educa- on) Conference at Purdue in Stewart Center on October 12- 13. More than 60 graduate students and faculty from over 10 Midwest instuons parcipated. Lu Ann Aday (MS ‘70, PhD ‘73) has made a mon- etary commitment for extraordinary contribu- ons in the humanies and social sciences. It is named the Lu Ann Aday Award. Candy Lawson will be cele- brang 40 years at Purdue, most of those years as Secre- tary and Schedule Deputy in the main Sociology office.
