Jointly Present Management Development Programme
Modular Master Class Series for Middle and Senior Business Managers
Excellence in Business Performance Optimisation in Challenging Times
About this Programme and Objectives
Business ecosystem in India is going through an unprecedented phase of metamorphosis.
Transformations are visible in all socio-economic, geo-political and etho-cultural attributes of business
environment. Symptoms and promises for another decade of accelerated growth are perceptible. Her
recent performance is better than many emerging countries. Both fiscal deficit and CAD have
substantially been constricted. Rupee is steadier in last about two months as compared to its peers in
emerging countries. This is despite tapering down of QEs by the USA.
North bound movements of Nifty explicitly speak of confidence of FIIs on India. While about 30% of
Indian economy is coupled with global economy, its share of exports to China is not that significant.
Hence recent down turn in the Dragon’s activism will not affect India much, as is being seen in case of
other Asian countries. Review reports and optimisms from global analysts are indicating that investible
surplus will find a better destination for value generation in the form of India than in any other emerging
countries.
The momentum, that has already picked up for integrating Bharat (rural economy) with India (urban
economy) and India’s efforts to serve Bharat better and faster, cannot be pulled back any more by any
one. Increasing speed for bringing skills and capabilities closer to wealth generation opportunities will
lead India to the accelerated path of inclusive growth and derive enormous benefits of demographic
dividends. This will be a reality irrespective who all occupy seats of power in the Parliament.
At this momentous juncture the HRM Committee of Bombay Chamber, in its continuing efforts to
facilitate member companies full filling their corporate mission and commitment for performance, is
organising jointly with Innoventionians & Associates one more professional development programme for
business executives across all functional areas.
The modular classes have been designed with the objective to provide business executives from all
functional areas application oriented professional and strategic knowledge inputs with a 3600 approach.
This will enable them to achieve a state of readiness to face challenges of emerging times and take their
companies to newer heights of sustainable growth and value creation. It will facilitate the process of
revisiting the path from Vision, Mission, and Culture to SWOT Analysis, Operating Strategies, Tactics,
Action Plan and Performance Control.

Sessions for each topic of the modular classes will be taken by learned senior professionals, drawn from
reputed corporate houses, consulting and advisory firms of big four and primer rank status, business
schools, etc. The pedagogy they will use will include case studies, short business films, extensive
question and answer sessions and written quizzes.
Who Should Attend
In today’s competitive world every single action across any functional area has its direct and / or indirect
impacts on profitability and financial state of affairs of any business organisation. Executives at all levels
of operating hierarchy should have a fair idea as to how their decisions and activities can create financial
impacts, as well as touch various aspects of governance, risks and compliance. Accordingly the
underlying focus of the modules is to provide strategic and financial orientation with overriding touch
points for business performance management, GRC and optimised utilisation of business information
systems. Therefore, managers from all functional areas, viz., operations, finance, risk
management and controllership, taxation, regulatory and compliance matters must attend this
programme.
Participants have a range of options and absolute flexibility to choose from four different fortnightly
modules, as detailed elsewhere in this brochure, depending upon their day to day functional
requirements. However, they will have to attend the first full day programme and then can choose
any two of the fortnightly half day modules or all of them. Certificates will be issued based on
combination of modules they attend.
Participants will be provided soft copies of all presentations as well as all video-recorded sessions of all
speakers. This will facilitate their process of relearning and use such powerful training materials for
conducting sessions internally within their organisations.
