Buying online is THE trend. And of course not only in fashion.
In all countries the online share ìn fashion is rapidly growing but it
does not bring additional sales. Shares are quit different per country
due to retail structure and development internet penetration.

The question is not online or offline but which channel at what moment.
The consumer stays interested because of the flexibility of the offer and
by the offered experience. Be relevant.

CO SHOPPING
Social Media changes the relation between consumer and retailer/brand,
between demand and supply. Consumers will consult much more their
network of Friends, Fans and Followers to discover, discuss, purchase
and evaluate products. Retailers and Brands must work at their F-factor !

Conclusie: Van waardeketen naar waardecirkel

Waarom cross channel?
22
Transparantie en modebedrijven
Analyse van POS data
webshop analyse, online creditchecks
Logistiek, distributie, b-to-b e-commerce, EDI, RFiD
Collaborative planning software, ‘one version of the thruth’
Namaak, productveiligheid / aansprakelijkheid
Maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen, sustainability
23
