Disco
This Thursday we are having our annual school disco. The Infant disco will run from 5.00pm—
6.00pm and the Primary disco will be conducted from 6.30pm—8.00pm. Both disco ’s
have an army theme. There will be prizes for the best dressed, the best dancer as well as other random
prizes throughout the night. An entry fee of $5.00 is required which will give the students a drink, a
packet of chips and even a Zooper Dooper for the trip home.
Sun Smart
As the calendar has ticked over to Spring it is now time for students to wear the hats whilst outside. If
they do not have hats on our policy states that they must play in the shade. Can you please make sure
that your child has their hat at school and that they wear it whilst outside.
Spelling Bee
This coming Wednesday James Mason, Kyron Griffiths-Sharma, Orlando Peterson and Hayley Irving
will be travelling to Corowa to compete in the next level of the school spelling bee. We wish them well
and hope that our new SMART spelling program assists them when they are attempt to spell those
tricky words.
Swimming
Last week saw the culmination of our swimming programs for the year. Congratulations to all of our
students for their progress and behaviour throughout the programs. You have all represented our
school beautifully.
Professional Learning
This week Ms Camin, Ms Crump and Ms Catlow are heading off to Deniliquin for two days to complete
some professional learning in Mathematics. They are focussing on additive strategies. Once they re-
turn back to class they will be able to impart their newfound knowledge onto the students. I am look-
ing forward to seeing the progress students make in Mathematics after this.
RAGE program for Year 6 boys
Last Thursday was the last day of this program. The boys have completed a number of activities where
they identified emotions and learnt strategies to deal with them. We would like to thank Sat Vincent’s
in Deniliquin for providing the facilitators of this program and hope that the boys use these life long
strategies to assist them along their personal journeys.

Reminder—Tell Them From Me Survey
The school is seeking feedback from our parents and carers. Therefore we have created a survey to
complete online. The results of the survey are all anonymous and confidential and are used to assist
with future planning. To complete the survey you type in the following web address
http://nsw.tellthemfromme.com/moama2731 and then follow the prompts. It would be greatly
appreciated if you take the time and effort to complete this.
