We will be most happy to assist you with all the details of your function concerning menu choices for breakfasts, brunches, lunch and dinner buffets, receptions, seminars, and special meetings. You may select menus from our VIP and Traditional buffets or we will create a menu of your choosing to satisfy your specific needs and occasion. (See our menu options. Please note that prices are subject to change.) ere is no charge for the use of our banquet rooms when food is purchased for all guests. Breakfast, Lunch and Traditional Buffets are prepared for a minimum of 25 guests and Carved Buffets are prepared for a minimum of 35 guests. (ere is a $400 minimum when only appetizers are ordered.) All banquet rooms are reserved for four-hour windows and are assigned by request or in accordance with the anticipated guaranteed number of guests. A guaranteed minimum number of guests must be given when rooms are reserved. If guest count drops below the minimum count given aſter the proposal is approved, room charges will apply ($200 for large banquet room/ $100 for each smaller banquet room)—if all rooms have been reserved in advance and guest count drops significantly, 25% of the original proposal will be applied to the final bill. A nonrefundable deposit of $200/$100 (based on guest count) is requested to confirm your reservation and will be deducted from the final invoice. A 6% Maryland Sales Tax will apply unless your organization/ group is tax exempt. A current tax exempt certificate must be provided. All Appetizers are served on 6-inch plates as finger foods and not served dinner style. Appetizer packages allow for 2 to 3 pieces per item per person. If Appetizers are ordered

Policies for Scheduled EventsScheduling an Event

Upon scheduling an event, menu options will be offered. After menu choices have been selected a proposal will becreated based on tentative guest count. Client will approve and sign the tentative proposal. A $200/$100 nonrefundabledeposit (based on guest count) will be required to lock in the date of the event. No date for any event will be guaranteedwithout receipt of deposit. The deposit will be deducted from the final invoice. Until the proposal is approved and signed, no event will be guaranteed.

Reservation / PaymentThere is no charge for the use of our banquet rooms when food is purchased for all guests. Breakfast, Lunch and Traditional Buffets are prepared for a minimum of 25 guests and Carved Buffets are prepared for a minimum of 35guests. (There is a $400 minimum when only appetizers are ordered.) For wedding receptions a $200 venue set-up feewill apply. If rooms are available and set-up is required on day prior to reception, room charges will apply. Set-up anddecorations must be approved by management. All banquet rooms are reserved for a four-hour window. Rooms areassigned by request (or if dance floor or bar is needed), or in accordance with the anticipated number of guests. A minimum guaranteed number of guests must be given when rooms are reserved. If guest count drops below theminimum guaranteed count given after the proposal is approved, room charges will apply ($200 for the large banquetroom/$100 for each smaller banquet room). If all rooms have been reserved in advance and guest count dropssignificantly, 25% of the original proposal will also be applied to the final bill.

For weddings and prescheduled events with 80 plus guests, payments will be made incrementally (25% due 60 daysafter proposal is signed, 25% due 60 days later, and 50% is due 7 days before event). Deposits/payments to be paid bycash, money order, credit card (Master Card, Visa, Discover, and American Express), or by one check or paymentmade out to Mister Paul’s Legacy. Any additional charges incurred during the event are to be paid in full at the conclusion of the event (preferably by credit card).

Final guest count is required one week prior to the scheduled event in order to purchase food and supplies. Charges will be based upon final guest count or actual attendance, whichever is greater—once final count is given itmay not be decreased.

For business meetings or events where buffets are not ordered room charges will be negotiated. (This does not applyto civic groups.)

For parties of 25 guests or less a $100/$200 (based on room requested) room charge will apply in addition to thebuffet/room charges. Room charges may also apply if menu choices total less than $400 (i.e., appetizers, etc.).

The prices for children’s meals during a buffet are as follows: 4-12 years pay half price and 3 years and under are free.Children’s prices are not applicable to appetizer packages or special menus.

A 20% gratuity will apply to all banquets and events to cover cost of room set-up, break-down, and services providedby our coordinators, servers, and staff. A 6% Maryland Tax will also apply. If your group or organization is tax exempt, a current tax exempt certificate must be provided with signed proposal before tax can be deducted.

Other than business meetings, all-day conferences or prearranged events, a maximum of four hours will be allottedfor each event. Time may be extended when prearranged with Legacy staff. A $100 charge will be added to the finalbill for each 30 minutes after the allotted time. Restaurant facility closes at 10:30 pm.

Policies for Scheduled Events

Policies• If more than one event is taking place in the facility, please be courteous to other guests,

particularly with music or microphone volume.

• Absolutely NO food, beverages, or alcohol may be brought into the restaurant or taken from the restaurant. Due to Health Department regulations, foods left over from banquets may not be removed from the restaurant. Candy favors or cakes for celebrating (birthday/wedding) are permissible.

• No confetti, rice, or birdseed is permitted inside the building or in the parking lot. Decorations that do not cause paint or wall damage may be used. Balloons, candles, and flowers are permitted.

• No smoking is permitted on the premises except in designated smoking areas.

• The Legacy reserves the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or illegal substances. All guests will be carded and must provide valid identification. NO GUEST UNDER 21 WILL BE SERVED ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES!

Wedding Event Fees

A $200 venue set-up fee will apply to all wedding receptions. Cake cutting and reception coordination assistance provided at no extra charge. Dance floor, podium, microphones, screens, colored napkins, WiFihook-up, laptop tables, etc., are available at no extra charge. Bars are available in two of our banquet rooms. A bartender is available at a fee of $75 for four hours. Banquet rooms will be available for set-up/decorating on day of event. If set-up is required the day before, room charges may apply.
