WELCOME... Hello all, Welcome to another lively newsletter that is packed with exciting updates and information. With the weather being so unbelievable for September, its had a strange effect on the product trends for this time of year, with a record number of verandas being sold this summer it has been great to see the trend continuing right into this month. Now we have landed in to October the cold is certainly on its way (although still nice and sunny) and its time to switch the marketing to carports for the winter trend. We are very proud to be the G18 Awards finalists for Training and Development Initiative of the year 2018, along with 3 other companies including Veka Group, Reynaers and Alufold Direct? The Milwood Group are happy to announce that we have been nominated for the Training and Development Init iat ive of the Year for the G18 Awards. Our training academy has had over 50 successful graduates within the 5 short months that it has been open.

We want all our Trade Partners to have full understanding and knowledge of our products, so they can be as passionate about them as we are, which is why we have invested t ime and money into creat ing our Training Academy. The Training Academy features samples and models of all our products so we can provide realist ic training.

ALL AREAS COVERED BY DIATO STYLE

These excellent installat ions were completed by Diato Style earlier this year and really highlight the benefits of selling across the Milwood product range. The star of the show is the Lifestyle Alfresco, finished off in RAL 9006 silver which is a modern and classy colour that really suits this structure. The screener veranda has been added to make the area more comfortable in the hot summer days

by cooling the glass and allowing shade to create a comfortable outdoor space in all weathers. On the top floor, a pair of our Window Awnings have been installed to give shading and heat reduct ion to the rear bedrooms. These are the manually operated versions, they can also be supplied with Somfy motors and remotes.

In addit ion to this great installat ion is a fantast ic Simplicity 6 which has been

colour matched to the windows of the property and adds to the characterful nature of the house. This shows the importance of choosing the right colour of canopy with the customer so that it complements its surroundings and gives the impression of being built with the home and not just stuck on as an afterthought.

clients free website traffic from Google (client

wishes to remain anonymous).

Their new Wordress ?Avada? Website went live in

June 2017 and shortly afterwards, they started

following the 3-Step Strategy outlined above.

As you can see, 4 times as many potential

customers are now arriving at the website each

month, through the Free Listings on Google alone,

not to mention a similar increase in Traffic from

Facebook etc. and his Leads and Customers read a

lot more of his marketing and sales messages

through Mailchimp in their Email inboxes.

The result for my client was a significant increase

in enquiries, sales and repeat orders? and a big

these two big marketing and sales mistakes?

CREATING SHADE WITH SUNBEAM CANOPIES

This fantast ic Simplicity 16 installat ion was completed by Sunbeam Canopies. Owner Mike Poynton was approached by his local yacht club to provide a solut ion to enhancethe usability of the

building which is used for charitable events and hosts private funct ions such as weddings and part ies. This 25 metre canopy really fits the bill and is a great market ing tool for Sunbeam as

they have market ing boards on the premises, so the clientele knows exact ly who to call when they need a canopy.

CARPORTS! THE FOCUS

As the seasons change and the cold is start ing to creep in, it 's important to offer your customers the right mix of products. Although we are st ill busy manufacturing glass verandas and glass rooms, we know from historical t rends that the carport market picks up in the colder months.

It goes without saying that customers will want to protect their cars from the elements, and want to be able to load and unload from their cars in a more comfortable fashion. And they want to

do so more and more when the weather turns chilly.

From a market ing point of view, now is the t ime to send messages to your exist ing customers and your potent ial new customers, let t ing them know that you have a good quality, all aluminium solut ion to offer them.

The Simplicity 16 carport is the perfect solut ion as it can span up to 4m in project ion and any length. As an alternat ive, we also have a big span

solut ion called the Simplicity 35 which is also completely made from aluminium and can span up to 6m from the building to give your customers ult imate cover from the weather.

As these structures are all aluminium, you have the choice of any colour to match your customers surroundings at an extra cost. Lead t imes on these structures in the standard white are now just 10 days, so contact us now while stocks last!

We have had some new stock arrive at our warehouse and are happy to announce a new lead t ime of 10 working days from CAD approval.

PLEASE BE AWARE

This new lead t ime only applies for the following products

- Simplicity 6 Standard White and Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016)

- Simplicity 16 Standard White - Simplicity 35 Standard white

Any other colour (powder coated) this lead t ime does not apply to!

SIMPLICITY 16 IN GREY 7016

Early in January 2019, we will be offering our Simplicity 16, as standard, in the colour RAL 7016 as well as White RAL 9016. This will provide your customers with the choice of the 2 separate colours along with a lead t ime of just 10 working days (from CAD Approval).

The Milwood Group recognises the need to be flexible to the market demands and therefore

provide our Trade Partners with the product range that will appeal to their customers.

We believe this new colour offering with help increase your sales and enhance the popularity of the Simplicity 16 product range.

Like the white RAL 9016 product, the standard RAL 7016 colour will be semi-gloss.

MEET YOUR NEW SALES ADVISOR

Faye is the latest member of the Milwood Group family, taking up the role of Customer Sales Advisor and becoming the primary point of contact for our new and exist ing customers.

She will deal with all init ial enquiries relat ing to quotat ions and technical advice and help our customers decide, not only about which system is best suited to them but also ensure they get great value for money to help maximise the benefits of their new installat ion.

Faye will also work to build targeted market ing communicat ions to keep our customers up to date with the latest products, developments and prices, as well as liaising with our broader sales and technical teams to ensure our customers stay fully informed about the Milwood Group offerings.

Faye says she is sett ling in quickly to the team and is looking forward to helping her first few customers through to complet ion, whilst she is working on building her technical understanding so she can bring real value to all our future customers.
