    The Compact System, SYS 600C provides proven MicroSCADA Pro functionality for real-time monitoring and control of primary and secondary equipment. Robust and compact, it offers an ideal solution for harsh and demanding environments in both transmission and distribution substations. Depend on it whenever real-time process information as well as state-of-the-art monitoring and control capabilities are crucial.

    The MicroSCADA Pro SYS 600C does not contain moving or otherwise vulnerable parts. With high scalability and modern architecture, it is easy to adapt and expand: You can enjoy its ease of use as a communication gateway, as a control system HMI or communication server in both industrial and electrical utility applications.

    Pre-configured from the factoryThe SYS 600C is delivered from the factory with tested and pre-installed software, containing an order-specific configura-tion. With the help of the ready-to-use library of symbols and control dialogs, the SYS 600C requires only minimal engi-neering before installation and commissioning. In addition, copy and paste functions allow, for instance, easy system extension. This way, the MicroSCADA Pro SYS 600C ensures efficient engineering and system integration.

    Right actions at the right time The operator interface of the MicroSCADA Pro SYS 600C enables you to easily and safely interact with the process, via protection and control IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Device), RTUs or other types of sensors. As a result, your MicroSCADA Pro SYS 600C will effectively help you take the right actions and achieve the maximum power system avail-ability.

    IEC 61850 compliantThe MicroSCADA Pro SYS 600C is compliant with the IEC 61850 standard for substation automation. This means that it can operate together with IEC 61850-compliant IEDs, tools and systems, which simplifies system engineering. With IEC 61850 support, the MicroSCADA Pro SYS 600C creates seamless communication and connectivity opportunities for its users.

    Seamless integration and connectivityThe MicroSCADA Pro SYS 600C ensures optimized control and reliable operation of your switchyard through the seam-less integration and connectivity between different devices and systems. SYS 600C also supports an extensive range of standard and de facto standard communication protocols and interfaces.

    Application areasCommunication GatewayThe MicroSCADA Pro SYS 600C provides a scalable commu-nication gateway solution, including support for a Hot Stand-by configuration. The communication gateway functionality provides mapping of data and signals between the various substation equipment and upper level system. It features a wide selection of communication protocols and interfaces and is thus open for any master system (SCADA or DCS systems). It further offers versatile connection to IEDs through both standard and de facto standard communication protocols.

    Control System HMI The MicroSCADA Pro SYS 600C is also designed to be used as a complete control system HMI to enable smooth monitor-ing and control of the connected process in both transmission and distribution substations. One SYS 600C computer is capable of accommodating both a full fledged control system HMI and a communication gateway, including Hot Stand-by configuration.

    Communication ServerIn SCADA applications, MicroSCADA Pro SYS 600C offers an excellent solid state Front-End solution with support for Hot Stand-by configuration. The large number of master commu-nication protocols enables easy connection to RTUs, gate-ways and other process interface units.
