FROM THE EDITOR’S DESK
Greetings and welcome to the ‘freshest’ issue of the alumni newsletter! I was overwhelmed bythe response that we received from the students, faculty and staff of MESCOE in makingthis newsletter possible. In this newsletter, we have reported significant achievements of thestudents and faculty. Kudos to Prof.M.P.Dale for successfully completing her Ph.D. defenceexamination and soon she will be first Ph.D holder from our department. Campus news and events, and the placement scenario have alsobeen emphasized. Also our alumni association is formally formed this year. A thought that has been enduring in mind whenit becomes real; is truly an
interesting and excitingexperience. This newsletter is one suchcherished work
that had its roots in the persuasion. It would be a snapshot of the various
activitiesand advancements for all associated with MESCOE.
Proper communication plays a vitalrole in institution’s development. This
newsletterwill serve to reinforce and allow increasedawareness, improved
interaction and integrationamong all of us. Usually we fail to appreciatethe
good deeds of many people and activitiesthat happen around us as we are
engaged inirrelevant talks and assumptions. It could allchange if we just pause
to think of what is ourcontribution to the society from which we havebeen
gifted with this blessed life. The progressof the society is mainly depends on
many peoplewho are working behind the scenes, overtimeround the clock
planning things to the smallest. This newsletter will be a medium to
provideproper acknowledgement and respect all ofthese efforts and its
results.
It is expected that wide support forthis mission will be provided through
thereader's valuable suggestions and comments. This is only a small step
towards a long journey. To achieve progress and to meet objectives wehave to
cross numerous milestones. This issue of newsletter should inspire all of us
