$he de"il had a ball for manyyears telling )harles and me that wecould not memorize scriptures

because we were *too old+ and *toofar away+ from school# $he de"ilsaid our minds were past the abilityto go in that particular direction#

thought from the beginning, and hehas told the same lie to people forgenerations past, and many ha"e

Writing it down yourself istremendously ad"antageous becausewriting it impresses it on your mind#One at a time is all you need,

because if you try to memorize fi"e,si or se"en in one day, you will

If I go to the kitchen to get a

scripture right there that I can read orsay while I m waiting for the

telephone to ring#I understand "ery well that this isa lot easier to do at home than in anoffice, but you might want to put onescripture on your desk where it can

be easily seen, and e"ery time youlook at it, that particular "erse willgo into your mind# In an office youcertainly can t go around 9uotingscripture out loud all the time, butyou can at least form the words inyour mouth# $his won t help as
