What the group intends to do:

The idea of what we want to achieve is the exploration of the Lesbian Gay Bisexual

Transsexual (LGBT) consciousness and how it can affect or contribute to the political arena of

any given setting. Basically, we will present the scene to a shadow dance where we will be

utilizing light that would cast shadows or silhouette of ourselves thru a white cloth. Our story

aims to give consciousness to audience of how LGBT are regarded in the family as well as that

in the community i.e. how they are being discriminated, marginalized, and abused. In order to

achieve this objective our story will revolve around a family in the context of a father and son

relationship wherein the son reveals to his father that he is gay and the father tries to repressed

the identity of his son for the reason that he was also part of LGBT community in his younger

years and has experienced the discrimination in the society as such the father doesn’t want his

son such discrimination and persuades his son to conform in the status quo.
