Our chapter has been awarded the Project Excellence Award in 2013, the Chapter of the Year Award in 2014, and Venture Fund Seed Capital in 2013 and 2014.

Implemented a women’s empowerment project abroad with The Cameroon Association of Active Youth. Secured and transported donations of feminine hygiene products, seeds, and sports equipment from the United States to Cameroon. Planted community demonstration gardens with donated hybrid seeds. Planted a tree nursery with 5,000 trees. Taught courses on violence against women, menstruation, climate change, and group dynamics.
Implemented a sports activity program. Conducted research on the needs of schools in Oku, Cameroon. Compiled research data into a report.
