MBA PROGRAMS NATIONALLY RANKED | LOCALLY ENGAGED

A WORLD-CLASS FACILITYXavier MBA students receive the benefit of studying in the Williams College of Business’ new $29 million building. The state-of-the-art facility includes all of the tools necessary to facilitate great learning—a world-class trading room, 17 project workrooms, large and small classrooms, suites for the College’s executives-in-residence, space for entrepreneurs, and executive meeting spaces. In designing the building, a great deal of care was taken to make sure it included space for members of the business community. By inviting them to mix with students and faculty, Xavier MBA students graduate with greater knowledge—and more connections.

OUR MISSIONThe mission of the Williams College of Business is, “To educate students of

business, enabling them to improve organizations and society, consistent

with the Jesuit tradition.” As a result, Xavier MBA graduates lead, think and

strategize while taking into consideration the ethical, moral and global im-

pact of business decisions. This is accomplished through a Xavier experience

that encompasses student-focused teaching, immediately applicable, timely

curricula and student-centered services—in essence, cura personalis, or

care for the whole person—the foundation of the Jesuit philosophy.

PROFESSIONAL MBA PROGRAMSXavier offers six distinct MBA programs designed to meet the diverse needs of business profes-sionals. Each program engages students in an outstanding educational experience that enables them to meet and exceed their personal and career goals, culminating with a graduate degree with benefits that last a lifetime.

• The Evening Program for Working Professionals: Designed to maximize the time and commitment of the working professional, the program is held in the evenings, allowing students maximum flexibility in scheduling.

• The Weekend Program: Designed for students unable to take classes during the week, the program offers courses on Saturdays. Students in the program receive their MBA in two years.

• Off-site Programs: Designed to be closer to where students work and live, the off-site programs are held on campuses in Deerfield, West Chester and Northern Kentucky. The accelerated format results in completion within 22 months.

• Momentum Program: The program is a one-year, full-time program that takes students directly from their undergraduate studies to an MBA.

• Executive MBA Program: This intense, fast-paced and highly selective program is designed for the experienced business professional on track for a top leadership role. It is delivered in a one-day, all-day format for 19 months. Admission is limited and selective.

• MBA Plus Program: Designed for those who already have an MBA, the program offers students the opportunity to expand their degrees by concentrating in a group of courses for a specific area of study.

AMONG THE BEST• Xavier’s MBA Program has consistently been ranked among the best in the

nation by U.S. News & World Report and BusinessWeek. • The Williams College of Business is rated among “The Best 301 Business

Schools” for 2010 by The Princeton Review.

An AACSB International Accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. Institutions such as Xavier that earn this accreditation confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive review program. AACSB International Accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in management education, as only 30 percent of U.S. business schools and 10 percent of business schools worldwide have achieved this standard of excellence.

WHY AN MBA FROM XAVIER?• Xavier University’s MBA Program provides an applied, contemporary curriculum that students

take and put into action the next day.• Xavier MBA faculty are teachers. They bring diversity and practical experience to their students

and have a vested interest in each student’s success.• Xavier MBA students are known by name. Student services are effective and immediate, allow-

ing students to study, not struggle through administrative issues.• Classes are held in six different formats to meet each student’s needs.• Campus locations are convenient and close to either home or work.• Xavier has more than 175 years of preparing graduates for meaningful service to others in their

professional and personal lives.

Abbey M. Booth | MBA 2011

“Xavier’s MBA Momentum program has been

the perfect stepping stone to develop my

skills. The Xavier community in and out of

the classroom has shaped me as a person

and helped build my confidence as a young

business professional. Professors really want

the students to succeed.”

Alma Leticia Alejandro | MBA 2011

“The Xavier MBA to me has meant freedom.

Initially, the freedom to choose which program

would be the best fit with my work schedule.

Now, it means the freedom to seek out new

career opportunities that will leverage my MBA

experience and accelerate my career path.”

Bassey E. Eno-Idem | MBA 2011

“I’ve been able to obtain a wealth of knowledge

that I know I will carry with me forever, but an

added bonus was the connections that I was able

to make with faculty, staff and fellow students.

I was able to gain such a better understanding

of international business that I am now able to

apply in my everyday work as an employee for

Nestle.”

Sean Cockrell | MBA 2011

“Xavier has been a huge influence. The MBA

program’s flexible class schedule was very

advantageous. I was able to tailor my class

schedule and balance my studies with working

and taking the CPA exams.”
