    FromourPastor:

I had the opportunity to visit Fred and Be0ye Skillern in the hospital last month. They are facing each day

with courage and faith. I was not glad that Be0ye was in the hospital but I was glad to be able to be with her in

person a1er a long 2me when she had to stay isolated from others.

As I went into the Surgery Wings entrance of Memorial Hospital in Cha0anooga to enter the building, a sign

above the door read: Wound Healing Center. It was above the sliding glass door and the words were in large

blue le0ers. The sign reminded me of the church for we are by the gi1 of the Holy Spirit: a wound healing center.

Broken hearts are mended here as people come surrendering their hurts and failures, their losses and their weak#

ness to the Lord in worship and in prayer. We are Gods Wound Healing Center as we pray for one another and

greet one another. We, even, bring healing as we witness to the unbelieving world that God is a God of Grace

and Forgiveness and claim that He is worthy of our praise everyday but especially on Sunday.

We are a wound healing center as we trust that in Christ our sins are forgiven through the power of His Cross.

And we are a place of healing as we learn more about His Promises in Scripture and as our families remember

together what is important and what is not.

Come next Sunday to our wound healing center and invite others who have been wounded in their lives to

    come along with you.

    your prayers.

Many thanks to Linda Kurzenberger for coordina-ng the Easter Egg Hunt and to Judy Newberry for

Hands and baked goods for sale. We will need dona-ons for supplies for the kitchen. We plan on serving

Hot Dogs, barbecue, chips, etc. Also, we need to know who is dona-ng what for the bake sale. A sign$up
