23RD SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME As Christians we are to be guided by the great commandment to love one another as Jesus loves us. Today’s psalm response is: “If today you hear God’s voice, harden not your hearts”. What does it take to train our hearts and ears to hear God’s voice? Sometimes it’s so hard to listen! The second reading (Romans 13) says: “‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’. Love does no evil to the neighbor, for love is the fulfillment of the law.” We have a LONG way to go before we can say we’ve fulfilled the law! And in the gospel, Matthew also talks about love. We are to try again and again and pray for a change of heart. Being a follower of Jesus Christ demands lots of practice. How is God calling you to grow in love and forgiveness TODAY, right now, here?

23° DOMINGO DE TIEMPO ORDINARIO Como cristianos debemos ser guiados por el gran mandamiento de amarnos los unos a los otros como Jesús nos ama. La respuesta del salmo de hoy es: "Si hoy escuchas la voz de Dios, no endurezcan sus corazones". ¿Qué se necesita para entrenar nuestros corazones y oídos para oír la voz de Dios? ¡A veces es tan difícil de escuchar!
