reflecting on god's word

A man was perplexed by his wife's refusal to

admit she had a hearing problem. He finally

asked his physician, "How can I get my wife to

admit she's hard of hearing?" "I'll tell you what

you need to do," the doctor replied. "When you

arrive home this evening, poke your head in the

door and ask, 'What's for dinner? If she doesn't

answer, go into the living room and repeat the

question. If she still doesn't hear, go right into

the kitchen and shout. And if she doesn't hear

that, speak it right into her ear and tell her what

just transpired. That should convince her of her

inability to hear." "Great!" the husband

responded. "That should work.”

That evening when he arrived home from

work, he opened the door and hollered "What's

for dinner, honey?" He listened but there was

no response. So he walked into the living room

and shouted: "What's for dinner, honey?" again

there was no response

He then stood in the doorway of the kitchen

and repeated the question. She still didn't

respond. He then sneaked up behind her and

shouted in her ear, "What's for dinner, honey?"

At that point, his wife turned to him and

shouted, "For the fourth time, spaghetti and

meatballs!"

Esa tarde cuando llegó del trabajo abrió la

puerta y gritó: "¿Qué hay para cenar,

amorcito?" No recibió respuesta, así es que se

dirigió a la sala y volvió a gritar: "¿Qué hay

para cenar, amorcito?" De nuevo no hubo

respuesta. Entonces fue a hurtadillas y la

sorprendió gritándole al oído: "¿Qué hay para

cenar, amorcito?" En ese momento su esposa

Spanish Choir Music Ministry: This choir accompanies the rites of the liturgy with songs that expresses the faith of our people. It prepares to sing Psalms and other parts of the mass, essential to our celebrations. It sings at two Masses: 6:30pm Saturday and 2:00pm Sunday. We have total 16 active members. We meet every Tuesday at 7:00PM for rehearsal in the Church. If you would like to give your time and talents to praise God through singing, join our choir. We need you and your talents. We’d like to thank the Knight’s of Columbus for hosting a wonderful pancake breakfast to help support our school last weekend. • We’d also like to recognize and thank our 3rd and 5th grade students who joined the choir and sang last week. • Enrollment is now open for the 2019-2020 school year. Bilingual Stations of the Cross

Beginning on March 8, at 7:00 pm, and continuing all Friday during Lent, we will be praying the Stations of the Cross. Each week different ministries will leed. For each station we will alternate between English and Spanish. The meditations for each station are very meaning-ful. If you haven’t attended this in the past, give it a try and come. All are welcome!
