A Message from Fr. Larry In the midst of where we all find ourselves today may we be aware of others in more dire circumstances throughout the world.

In our Gospel for Sunday, Mary, whose brother has passed, says, “Lord if you had only been here…” Many may be thinking that today. As well as, “Lord where are you?”

All through salvation history that question has arisen.

Jesus told Mary, his friend, “Your brother will rise.” She heard that reassurance because she was talking to Jesus.

Hopefully each of us is talking to Jesus so that whatever we may have to bear we can still hear His answers to us.

God bless us all! Fr. Larry

“Parish News” Email List Did you not receive the latest emails that were sent out? Did you check your Spam folder and find it there?

Spam filters are constantly changing to adapt to new methods that spammers use to send emails; what lands in the inbox today could be filtered into spam tomorrow. There are a lot of things they're looking for that could cause emails to be flagged as spam, but there are a few tips to help emails make it to the inbox.

One of the easiest things that you can do is to add [email protected] to your safe senders list.

For additional tips please visit the F.A.Q. or Alerts pages of our parish website.

Stewardship Corner Dear brothers and sisters,

In this uncertain time we remember one another to God. Certainly each of us is remembering to care for those with needs in our families and communities.

Because of your generosity we will not face immediate resource problems at your parish. However we do appreciate those sending in offerings weekly for parish needs and for those to whom we reach out with food and assistance. Your mailed offerings will be processed weekly.

We will also soon be initiating e-Giving through eCatholic. These weekly bulletins and our webpage will give you more information on how to sign-up for it.

In Christ, Fr. Larry

Respect/Pro-Life Michele Stanfield, Parish Pro-Life Coordinator [email protected]

There is an everyday heroism, made up of gestures of sharing, big or small, which build up an authentic culture of life.

Part of this daily heroism is also the silent but effective and eloquent witness of all those ‘brave mothers who devote themselves to their own family without reserve, who suffer in giving birth to their children and who are ready to make any effort, to face any sacrifice, in order to pass on to them the best of themselves’.

We thank you, heroic mothers, for your invincible love! We thank you for your intrepid trust in God and in his love. We thank you for the sacrifice of your life.

Santa Rosa Pantry & Outreach (Saint Vincent de Paul) We have lots on our mind these days, like cabin fever, no toilet paper, etc. What should we be thinking about this time of year? Lent! Lent means fasting, prayers and charity. The Corporal works of mercy come to mind in Father Larry’s little Black Book. Feed the hungry and that is Pantry’s Mission.

At our last Pantry on March 16, we served 161 families the most ever. We expect even more at our next Pantry on April 1st.

We have adjusted procedures. Each family requesting assistance will remain in their vehicles and a volunteer will place the food in their trunk.

Saint Vincent de Paul is having the same issues. People are out of work because of their place of work has closed. How are they going to pay their rent and utilities with no income? The government may help but when?

If you can help, please mail your Blue envelope to church. We also ask that you please pray for our volunteers, that they remain healthy doing God’s work.

If you know of anyone in need of direct assistance, please ask them to call us at 254.317.2891.

Questions? Email Nora Fitzpatrick (Pantry Coordinator)
