En aquel tiempo, se le acercó a Jesús un leproso para suplicarle de rodillas: “Si tú quieres, puedes curarme”. Jesús se compadeció de él, y extendiendo la mano, lo tocó y le dijo: “¡Sí quiero: Sana!” Inmediatamen-te se le quitó la lepra y quedó limpio.
Al despedirlo, Jesús le mandó con severidad: “No se lo cuentes a nadie; pero para que conste, ve a presentarte al sacerdote y ofrece por tu purificación lo prescrito por Moisés”.

A leper came to Jesus and kneeling down begged him and said,“If you wish, you can make me clean.” Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand, touched him, and said to him, “I do will it. Be made clean.”The leprosy left him immediately, and he was made clean.Then, warning him sternly, he dismissed him at once.
He said to him, “See that you tell no one anything, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses prescribed;that will be proof for them.”

Rice Bowl Program: Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on February 17th. Each year many Catholics from across the world join in the Rice Bowl Program which is a faith-in-action program which strives to make a difference in their local community and around the world. Donations made through the Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl program support the work of Catholic Relief Services in 100 different countries each year. If you would like to participate in this program you may pick up a Rice Bowl which can be found in the bookcases at the exit of the church on New Britain Avenue. Any donations you make should be returned to the church at the end of Lent. They will then be sent to Catholic Relief Services.
Programa Plato de Arroz: La Cuaresma comienza con el Miércoles de Ceniza el 17 de febrero.
